Yuck! I just stood behind a lefty in line at the grocery store who was chomping away on gum. Mouth open and snapping it. The line came to a standstill while she did a bunch of welfare coupons. The person I was chatting with behind me called the coupons "wick" I think. Either way, my paycheck tax dollars bought the snappy gum and welfare coupons.

Decency, dignity, decorum, are all moving targets in their application. Imagining someone has less of these things for chewing gum, brings to mind another word that begins with D that doesnt even need to be said it's so obvious.

It should be remembered the origins of chewing gum werent from WASP's and one should consider if they're exhibiting 500yo bigotry on the topic. Social poisons leave their mark on cultures permanently.

So yeah, my point is that you can't really tell what someone's politics are just by looking at them. Some trans people are liberal, some are conservative.

Probably liberal, just because the Left is more tolerant of LGBT people, so the LGBT crowd feels safer on the Left. But I still wouldn't assume a trans person I just met is liberal, since there are still plenty of conservative trannies.

Here is a list of items that can really help identify lefties in public, if you are not experienced at doing so:

1. Chewing with mouth open
2. Unattractive
3. Look unemployable
4. Talk to loud for the social environment
5. Can't tell if they are male or female
6. Obese
