One of the rare places I dont agree with Jordan Peterson is "Never assume malevolence when incompetence could be the cause". Too many people who set out to abuse me when caught have professed ignorance/incompetence.
 
Based on the discussion of the topic, it is apparent that many do not want to know or understand what those with different political views believe/think.

That said, I have many people I love and respect with different views than I. I understand their why despite disagreeing with their conclusions. We have meaningful conversations all the time.

The OP is part of the problem. A broad generalization with personal insults about a lack of intelligence despite an education.

The average conservative loves this country and doesn't hate anyone just because disagrees with them about politics.

The average liberal loves this country and doesn't hate anyone just because they disagree with them about politics.

Unfortunately, some people enjoy and profit from a hate and division narrative.

At least that is my experience when identities are known. Anonymity doesn't help this discussion.

What do rightys think? They think that an election that was proven fair and honest by every measure we have, was stolen. They will keep thinking that because they are repeatedly told that. If Trump says it, they believe it.
The Dems have continued to exercise their right to vote and have maintained the American way of life and voting. Rightys insist the election was stolen. The left wonders how they can possibly be that stupid. The evidence, every scintilla of it, shows a fair and honest election.
The reds are learning to hate the left and think of us as enemies. We are not trying to change the country into a plutocracy or a dictatorship. They are.
The left thinks we should take care \f the environment. Rights think it cuts down on energy companies profits, so it is wrong.
The left tries to have dialogues with the right, but rightys respond with name-calling, anger, and insults.
America has existed for over 250 years and the right wants to tear it down and have total power when they are done.
They want to kill off the left.
Maybe not all rightys are violent and haters. Just almost everyone on this board .
