Lefty mask scam

Exactly. A business at this time last year doing what the governments are telling them to do today would have been shut down by OSHA or state OSHA and some people would have faced criminal charges.

This shit would be funny if it weren't actually hurting people. I remember a commercial that used to play on the radio here a few years ago. It was a commercial for a weight loss powder. All you had to do was mix this powder into 8 0z. of water and drink it one hour before you went to bed. As long as you did that...and followed a proper diet, and didn't snack, and exercised, and talked to your doctor about weight loss, and didn't eat 4 hours before you went to bed you were guaranteed to lose weight and it was totally all about the magic powder not the other things.

Now, wear your mask. If you do that and combine it with proper distancing and hygiene you'll be fine and it'll be all about the mask not the other things.

I've seen this movie before.

Nice post, thanks, Guille.

It looked like a lot of them weren't wearing masks (in that particular picture, anyway).

Masks didn't work then, and they still don't work now.

You have not proved that yet. I am still waiting for solid evidence.

Masks supposedly stop/prevent the spread of viruses... If a maskwearer happened to come down with COVID, would you consider the mask to be "working", given the aforementioned goal of maskwearing??

Masks are to prevent a mask wearer from transmitting in case he/she has the virus. It is not 100% effective, but it does minimize the risk.

Some cases are asymptomatic.

It is not effective at all... The virus still spreads, regardless of whether one wears a mask or not. Obviously, mask wearing is not working. It is not preventing the spread of COVID...

Again, you have not proved it. You keep evading. Why?

Also, nobody claims that the masks are 100% effective. Almost nothing is foolproof.

Fine... Let's play the "holy link" game: https://www.health.harvard.edu/dise...d coronavirus can remain in,up to three hours.

That particular link says that it can survive in the air for ~3 hours...

Now is when you tell me that you don't like the link I chose, that [insert link here] is better than the link I chose, ignore or deny my link altogether, or that my link contains [insert claim here] that contradicts [insert a position of mine other than the one that we are specifically talking about here]...

Also, nobody claims that the masks are 100% effective. Almost nothing is foolproof.
Masks are not stopping/preventing the spread of viruses... Viruses continue to spread around as we speak, whether or not people are wearing masks...

His question is a diversion of the thread topic that he is evading. He demands an answer to his evasion, but he won't talk about the thread topic. He is here to play "Who's on first".

Why the sarcasm? You're aware that the burden of proof is on the one making the claim?

That particular link says that it can survive in the air for ~3 hours...

"Aerosolized coronavirus can remain in the air for up to three hours. A mask can help prevent that spread."

AEROSOLIZED coronavirus, not non aerosolized coronavirus.

Now is when you tell me that you don't like the link I chose, that [insert link here] is better than the link I chose, ignore or deny my link altogether, or that my link contains [insert claim here] that contradicts [insert a position of mine other than the one that we are specifically talking about here]...

It's a good article.

I know that viruses continue to spread around as we speak. Nobody is denying that. Why do you keep repeating that?

The OP was talking about the SIZE of the virus vs the size of the mask pores. That is WITHOUT the droplet.

The argument uses colander as an bad example. The example fails when you realize that if you sprinkle water on it, droplets will be on it.

No. It is from your post about the virus size. That what I was asking about. It's a specific question to your specific post.

YES! Let's get back to that... Let's get back to what the OP was talking about...

So, why make reference to N95 specifications and tests using N95 masks when N95 masks are NOT what people are actually wearing??

That has already been answered. N95 is the best one when it comes to masks. Unfortunately, due to high demand from the healthcare workers, those masks are low in supply.

EVASION OF QUESTION ASKED. I didn't ask about supply/demand of N95 masks...

Lol, lefties love to claim that stuff has already been posted "somewhere ", but it can never be found.
