The premise is that covid viruses are smaller than the "pores" in the masks and they can survive unassisted while airborne. Is there any evidence of the claim? We are aware of the sizes. No disputing that.

Coronavirus floats in the air on average ~3 hours (each individual virus' mileage may vary) before working its way to a surface where it will survive for ~3 days.

1. Viruses are not required to be in a droplet. Billions upon billions are floating freely.
2. Those that happen to be in droplets are only so for a very brief period as droplets quickly evaporate, leaving whatever viruses were contained therein floating freely.
