Lesbian criticizes Picasso.

Art is so subjective, isn't it?

I can appreciate Picasso a little bit, but hip hop music makes me want to vomit.

So much of the music that I loved as a kid was Afro-centric--trad jazz, bebop, doowop, jump blues, Stax/Atlantic-style soul--
and now the entire black race is out to kill me with annoying noise.

The entire black race?

Don’t expect people to react to what “you say” you meant

People react to what you actually say

Quit expecting people to read your mind when you clearly say something not good

In a 2001 book, his granddaughter Marina Picasso wrote that he would dispose of women after he "submitted them to his animal sexuality, tamed them, bewitched them, ingested them and crushed them onto his canvas".

In the little of his work that I've seen, I didn't recognize the misogyny.
That doesn't mean that it didn't exist.
That just meant I wasn't a trained critic of art.
It certainly does sound as though he could have been a better man, even if he was an accomplished artist.

Do I come across to you as a person who craves approval of his speech demeanor?

You are right, though.

If I gave a shit, I'd give up the schtick by which I'm recognized.

I must not care, then, right Vinny?

Here, I'm just an internet character, and like all internet characters, not important in any conceivable way.

In real life, people who know me--well, know me.

Be specific. Cite actual acts and events.

"He believed that women should not “trespass on men’s preserve” and would even keep her locked inside the house while he went out. While he immortalised her in art, he didn’t value his muse as an artist or woman in her own right."

You are here

Don’t expect to be treated like your words don’t say what you mean

That is your responsibility here

Communicate your values

I respond to what people say

Get used to that

I more or less got that, Vinny.
I pretty much said the same thing, in fact.
Pretty pictures if you like them.
Probably a nasty guy if the stories are true.

Some people hate knowing reality

I have never understood why they hate reality and can’t deal with what’s proven real

Why would all the women in his life lie about him………including his own grand daughter

He was NOT a good person

“It’s Pablo-matic: Picasso According to Hannah Gadsby”, an exhibition that opened on June 2nd at the Brooklyn Museum in New York.

It was arguably risky to hand the reins to an artist who has dismissed Picasso’s innovation of Cubism as “a kaleidoscope filter on [his] cock.”

All of this makes Gadsby’s rather blunt commentary seem churlish at times. Alongside Picasso’s slight plaster sculpture “Pleureuse (Crying Woman)”, Gadsby writes that the piece makes clear why “so many people point out that Picasso had no formal training in sculpture. It is hard to be impressed otherwise.”

Seriously, this is the state of our culture? A lesbian hating Picasso because he is a man?!

So all men torture their sex partners and dominate them?

Kinda sick dude
