Libertarians unite!

yes I know all you have left is the "your a poopy pants" defense in the face of all the facts I can give

Hah! The stage isn't that big. Try Sudan maybe...

College libertarians grow up to be conservatives eventually.

I already explained that there's nothing left of America's Christian heritage past so they can't keep blaming religious folks for the country lying on it's death bed.

Most grow up to be sidelined haters who stop voting. They become disenfranchised and resort to violence on a small scale and in ways that are safe for them. They were never anything other than racists and haters. Show me one on this forum who hasn't displayed those traits openly.

come with me and expose the republican party at its weak point so you can take its place.

tell everyone you know about the completely court documented evidence which proves the repoublican party has cheated to win elections for decades.

Its the opportunity you people have waited for since Goldwater
I'd rather keep the democrat party from spreading communism all over America.

You claim Libertarians support historically failed ideas. Why would you want a party that supports historically failed ideas to replace a party that supports historically failed ideas?

For the same reason that Cubs fans keep attending their baseball games: the excitement.

Talk about a failed idea.

What do you mean, it worked for Robinson Crusoe until he got together with Friday. He's the main model for the libertarians rugged individualism isn't he? It can't be Ayn Rand because all of her rugged individuals so-called get together and form a commune in the Rocky Mountains under some camouflage cover so nobody can find them. There is nothing the least bit individualistic about that. It's actually some kind of socialism or communalism or collectivism or who knows what ism, but it certainly isn't rugged individualism. But most Randians haven't thought that through too well, including Rand herself.

He survived for 19 days without government help:

Gene Penaflor was found Saturday in Mendocino National Forest by hunters, who carried him to safety in a makeshift stretcher, the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office said.

Looks to me like he survived without the government right up until the Sheriff's office got involved in his rescue.

Looks to me like you have reading and comprehension issues. The Sheriff's office didn't locate him although they launched their search on September 26. Fellow hunters did, and they carried him to rescuers.

"Hunters eventually located Penaflor, rendered aid and rigged a stretcher from coats and tree limbs, carrying him up a steep hillside".

The dems , and the reps pray on the religious vote.

Half the country (and ever growing) is the entitlement crowd.

The other half is the Republican's base.

You libertarians can't build a national political movement with college kids because college kids start growing up quickly when they go to work. What you should do is go after the Republican base and you would build a political party that would dwarf the GOP because the base of the GOP is none other than the tea parties which you dislike because of religion again. You would crush the socialist Democrats.

Again, this is why you dislike the tea parties because too many of their members oppose queer marriage and AOD.

There are many Republicans in the '47%' who don't pay federal taxes just as there are many Democrats in the top 1% and among the top earners in this country.

That is true, I agree with you.

So now tell me why your former party the G.O.P. caters to everybody who isn't going to vote for them and takes for granted that the other people they don't cater to will vote for them anyway?

This is key as to why the republicans can no longer win national elections and why I strongly suggested that the libertarians go after the G.O.P.'s base which they'll never do.

My former party? I've been a registered Republican my entire voting life. (Not to say there haven't been times when I've wanted to change it but that's neither here nor there.)

I admittedly haven't followed this entire thread so my apologies if I am repeating what's already been said but I don't see social conservatives moving over to the Libertarian side of the isle any time soon. I also don't see the GOP catering to those who won't vote for them (on a national level) otherwise they would make a much more concerted effort to win the minority vote, especially the Hispanic vote.
