Especially since Damocles hasn't asked anyone to slow down their thread creation rate, as far as I know.

So, can anyone explain why prolific posting is supposed to be harmful?

Looks that way to me. They claim to be ignoring me for a reason. I suspect we both know what that reason is.

Despite their claims, they have the unbridled idiocy to complain that I clutter up their screens.

If I was on "ignore", they would see my threads at all. Would they?

I just looked at the Current Events forum, and I saw a couple of threads started by Lionfish.

I then placed Lionfish "on ignore" and refreshed the Current Events forum.

Like magic, I saw no threads authored by Lionfish.
