Men comprised 81.3% (625 of 716) of the charged rioters and women 12.7% (91 of 716). One third of the women were charged as felons, compared with more than half of the men. Almost two-thirds of the women are misdemeanants, compared to 40% of the men. Almost one third of the women charged
were in their 50s, 31.9% (29 of 91), followed by 27.5% (25 of 91) in their 30s, and 18.7% (17 of 91) in their 40s. In contrast, the age distribution for men was much more even with 28.2% (176 of 625) in their 30s, 23.8% (149 of 625) between 18 and 29, and 21.8% (136 of 625) in their 40s.

But it gives you a set of equations: _Reported = _Committed / 2 ==> _Committed = 2 * _Reported

You can then apply this equation whenever either a "crimes reported" figure or a "crimes committed" figure is encountered.

Keeping the economy going through several years of mismanagement will be more difficult. I am hoping we just have a recession or something, but we could have a default. A default would be tough to recover from.

We can recover from a recession in a few years. We end up with almost a decade of missing growth, which is bad, but not the end of America. If America defaults on our debt, we are looking at decades to recover. That is decades that Americans have to vote for politicians that can promise nothing but hard work to try to rebuild America, so there might be a relapse into the alt right laziness. And then decades more of trying to recover.

There is a technological, and cultural change hitting America, and the world. Poorer middle age white men feel endangered by it all.

Right before, or after major technological, or cultural changes there is often a lot of violence.

I may be over thinking this, but at the beginning of the Neolithic Agricultural Revolution, and the Industrial Revolutions, there were falling life expectancies, and we are seeing it again in America. There is a reasonable theory that we are on the verge of a great acceleration in growth, and an amazing advancement in standards of living.
