Keeping the economy going through several years of mismanagement will be more difficult.

I am hoping we just have a recession or something, but we could have a default. A default would be tough to recover from.

We can recover from a recession in a few years. We end up with almost a decade of missing growth, which is bad, but not the end of America. If America defaults on our debt, we are looking at decades to recover. That is decades that Americans have to vote for politicians that can promise nothing but hard work to try to rebuild America, so there might be a relapse into the alt right laziness. And then decades more of trying to recover.

TOP made an assertion. If you don't believe she adequately supported her point then that's how you should respond. The US has been on a slightly upward trend in violent crime since 2014. Statistics are countless (no pun intended) so you need to ask TOP for clarification where needed.

Of course, she might have misread and meant in 2022 which saw a 16.2 per 100,000 increase in violent crime. You have to ask her for clarification.
