The audit is happening. The problem is that the auditors are proving to be incompetent. They are going to be about 3 months late with completing the audit they said would take less than a month. They are unable to find files on a hard drive and claim they were deleted but then when told the files are there they suddenly "find" them.
What is going to be fun is when the auditors have to answer in court for their incompetence. They will have to buy new voting machines for Maricopa since they failed to put security procedures in place. They will have to show they followed state and Federal laws which they have seemed to violate several times already. When it's all said and done, you better get donating because it's going to cost $30 million or more to fix their fuck ups.
No, that's not what the Constitution says. It says that state legislatures have authority to DETERMINE HOW ELECTORS ARE SELECTED. That means they can abdicate whatever authority they choose. And they have chosen to abdicate the VOTING to the people, and the OVERSIGHT to election boards. Is this too challenging for you? I'd imagine it is.

The courts have repeatedly and clearly established that once the elections rules are created by the legislature and put in place they can't be changed after the fact because you don't like the outcome. It's one of the most basic understandings in the law. Voters can't have their votes taken away if they relied on rules they are told before the election. The failure to challenge those rules before the election means you have no right to challenge them after the election to try to overturn the election even if you are the legislature.

There is a letter requesting a meeting, and the election officials told the Senate to pound sand. They are not legally required to meet with the Senate. And they shouldn't, because this is a total sham. Everyone knows it. The board has three Republican members and one Democrat. This isn't a partisan issue. It's an issue of integrity, and the GOP Senate in Arizona has none. As for these phony subpoenas, Grok is quoting a February ruling by the judge, WHICH THE ELECTIONS BOARD COMPLIED WITH. The Legislatures decides HOW. They do not pick the electors themselves (unless they decide to do that). If the legislature DIRECTS the board of elections to conduct the election, that's what happens. This is not rocket science.

LOL, dude, the election is over. Did you miss that part? Your link says that the board refused to meet with the Senate. No subpoena as you claimed. Because you are not only stupid, you are dishonest as well. So there is no legal obligation for the board to participate in a sham audit. They complied with court orders. They do not have to do what the Senate tells them to do, because this audit has zero to do with picking electors.
No. It isn't their authority and duty. The legislature set the process years ago. The process doesn't give them the power to decide which votes are legal after the election has been certified. The courts have ruled consistently that not even the legislature can change any rules about the election after the election is done.

Arizona Democrats have refused to comply with court orders and have declared an audit “racist.”
The criminal gang that masquerades as the US Dept of Justice has declared the election audit “voter intimidtion” as the DOJ attempts to intimidate Republicans to cease the audit.
Obviously, there was massive electoral fraud. If not, why the extraordinary effort to block the audit? If there was no election fraud, the Democrats would welcome an audit to prove their case.
What will Republicans, assuming the DOJ doesn’t scare them off, do with the evidence of election theft? Chances are high they will cover it up. Why? Here are several reasons:
Republicans are largely from the business and corporate community. They don’t know how to fight. They learned that you get to the top by not making waves.
Republicans are patriotic and are concerned to protect America’s reputation. Many will argue that to reveal the fraud will undermine America’s reputation and democracy and that the Chinese and Russians will use the fraud for propaganda against America. Suppressing the evidence of fraud is necessary to protect America’s influence.
Revealing the fraud will undermine the Biden administration and cause a political crisis. It will be clear that America has suffered a coup. To overturn the coup would split the country. The Biden military might intervene in Biden’s behalf, thus legitimizing the coup and ending the authority of law and the Constitution.
