was I serious about it happening? absolutely. I don't deny that. I could tell by all the online ranting and rah rah that there were a bunch of fools who were going to do something. turns out i'm smarter and more perceptive than most of the government involved with capital security. all your questioning was trying to lead me in to saying I was part of it, so naturally I wasn't going to answer you. all our conversations are still out there for the reading. all you did was make yourself out to be a gleeful leftie hoping people were going down, even if they weren't part of it.

PS I have my gun safety card in my wallet. Attended three PK2 lessons as well. A can safely use the weapons.
And I can filet a fish without waste so will be useful as the company chef!

He acted in the highest traditions and duty as a Marine.

He should be promoted and given a medal.

They can't take what we don't give them. Like panic gas-buying, there's always going to be a segment of any group who are fucking morons. We can't stop them from voting. The best course of action, IMO, is to educate as many as possible on the wisdom of particular courses of action. Some won't listen, of course, but all we need are a majority in each state, and a majority of states/electoral votes, to do the best thing for the nation.

Consider the Patriot Act, do you agree that it delved directly into Ben Franklin's "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety"?

On the contrary, education is exactly the solution to conquer fear. If there's a monster in the dark, people's fears grow because Fear of the Unknown is the greatest fear of all.

OTOH, if we explore and research enough to figure out that it's a bear, learn tracking to we can find it's den and then learn how to make a bear trap, then we have a plan, not just fearful shitting in our pants about monsters.

Weren't you ever told that the best survival tool at your disposal is the computer between your ears? How can you expect to survive any contingencies if you don't program it with knowledge?

The true fear mongers on this forum are those denying something simply because they can't see it.
