Medias Bias? you Betcha

And now that the gutless little coward has gotten his ass handed to him over and over, he's done what most Righties do when confronted.

He's run away like a scared little girl.

Uh actually I was working for a living, try it some time. I have had nothing handed to me liar, my thread starter is truth, and like the little liberal sheep you are you baaaaah at the feet of your evil masters.

then why doesn't this left leaning media report about all the decades of court documents on cases where the republican party was in trouble for cheating voters out of their votes?

Dude if the American people knew those facts alone the republican party would be DEAD

You are nothing but a disinformation machine for your masters sheep.

well that is certainly a liberal point of view which I expect from you, doesn't address the issue at hand, which is the leftist media outlets, which bow at the feet of their liberal masters.

This idiotic dead horse talking point has been refuted so many times only a man with a broken stick or someone with absolutely nothing better to do would continue to beat it. There are sonly a few "leftist media outlets" and they have absolutely nothing in common with the huge multinational corporations you mention here: Rolling Stone Magazine, The Nation, The Progressive, The New Left Review and maybe one or two others. They are not big businesses and they are certainly not part of the swill that you claim is leftist here. So give it a break because you are seeing leftists were none exist! Not even MSNBC is without it's righties. So who are all the leftists you speak of? Sorry the don't exist! If you don't have a leftist media you can't make any claims about them! And like that drunkard, Joe McCarthy, you are seeing snakes...er leftists, on everything! Don't confuse the manifestations from delirium tremens for reality. If you put down the bottle for a few days maybe some of these snakes...er leftists will disappear.

leftist media outlets, msnbc, cnn, cbs, nbc, abc, npr, pbs,

There is no doubt, the majority of the US media is left biased. It's not a surprise when it's so obvious that the right has strayed off the path of sanity so far since the baggers arrived.

Wrong! Several of us have plenty of doubts about that!

Those numbers are fact, 21 blaming republicans, 4 blaming both, 0 blaming the libturds. You can't run from that, embrace your socialist ideology, and masters.

What part of this do you not understand?? This is not about a budget. This is about the GOP trying to repeal Obamacare by any means possible. If you think repealing Obamacare is worth the gov't shutdown then don't complain that people are blaing the republicans. They DID it. At least have the balls to own that fact.

Here's a fun little story:

The deficit is down 37.6 percent for the first 10 months of the 2013 budget year, according to the Congressional Budget Office. But a new survey conducted by Google at Paul Krugman’s request finds that more than 50 percent of Americans think it’s still growing.

Isn't that interesting?

Here's what I'd like to know -- how can our media be so goddamned liberally biased and yet the vast majority of Americans have no idea that the deficit is shrinking?

Why do so many instead believe the talking points put forward by the right wing media in this country?

Liberal media, my ass.

Uh actually I was working for a living, try it some time. I have had nothing handed to me liar, my thread starter is truth, and like the little liberal sheep you are you baaaaah at the feet of your evil masters.
You made it all the way thru high school you say!

TV network stories blame Republicans, 21-0, for shutdown, not Democrats

.

So the media is finally reporting accurately, instead of pretending that both sides are equally to blame.

Doesn't mean they're liberal; they are finally reporting the facts.

leftist media outlets, msnbc, cnn, cbs, nbc, abc, npr, pbs,

You're so right; these entities are all Marxist, Socialist, and Communist endeavors that are not bound by any rules governing the actions of corporations in the market place or governing their fiduciary responsibilities to their share holders and therefore are all under investigation by the SEC for their complete disregard for profits that must be the first responsibility of all these corporate entities with the possible exception of NPR which is now nearly run exclusively by the right wingers who dominate the NPR governing board. If you didn't have your head so far up your butt that you can't think you wouldn't post such shit and pretend it wasn't anything less than ignorant right wing blather! But you can keep posting this shit as long as you want. No matter how many times you repeat it won't make it any more true than if you only said it once. True to form there is nothing more repetitive than a righty who has been caught lying about nearly anything.

Did you ever stop to think that Fox and the AM radio crowd is right biased and by the standards they have set for themselves in their ideology, that it only appears that the mainstream media is "left biased"?

I mean you have 5-6 channels saying basically the same thing on any given subject and one that puts a right wing spin on EVERY SINGLE SUBJECT.....

Lastly, I don't like 24/7 news cycles. They tend to be hyperbolic and will run with anything to keep people tuned in.

I normally keep my viewings to ABC nightly news. Although I will tune into O'Reilly, then Maddow for a good contrast on occasion.

Fully 81% of news media professionals favor affirmative action in employment and academia.

71% agree that the “government should work to ensure that everyone has a job.”

75% agree that the “government should work to reduce the income gap between rich and poor.”

56% say that the United States has exploited the nations of the Third World.

57% say that America’s disproportionate consumption of the world’s natural resources is “immoral.”

It is equally illuminating to examine the degree to which members of the news media have supported Democrat or liberal/left candidates and causes, both at the ballot box and with their checkbooks:

In 1964, 94% of media professionals voted for Democrat Lyndon Johnson over Republican Barry Goldwater.

In 1968, 86% voted for Democrat Hubert Humphrey over Republican Richard Nixon.

In 1972, 81% voted for Democrat George McGovern over the incumbent Nixon.

In 1988, White House correspondents from various major newspapers, television networks, magazines, and news services supported Democrat Michael Dukakis over Republican George H.W. Bush by a ratio of 12-to-1.

In 1992, those same correspondents supported Democrat Bill Clinton over the incumbent Bush by a ratio of 9 to 2.

Among Washington bureau chiefs and congressional correspondents, the disparity was 89% vs. 7%, in Clinton’s favor.

In a 2004 poll of campaign journalists, those based outside of Washington, DC supported Democrat John Kerry over Republican George W. Bush by a ratio of 3-to-1. Those based inside the Beltway favored Kerry by a 12-to-1 ratio.

In a 2008 survey of 144 journalists nationwide, journalists were 8 times likelier to make campaign contributions to Democrats than to Republicans.

A 2008 Investors Business Daily study put the campaign donation ratio at 11.5-to-1, in favor of Democrats. In terms of total dollars given, the ratio was 15-to-1.

Hey how dare you use facts! Liberals don't like facts.

If the media was left leaning the decades of court documented cases in which the republican have cheated people out of their votes would be common knowledge and the republican party would be a foot note in history.

the media is a corporate media you idiots.
