Megyn Kelly doesn't know shit about who's in that fire department, or what is their weight and sexual preference. How does anybody tell who's inside that gear, saving people's lives? Those people would put their own lives on the line to save an undeserving p.o.s. like Kelly.

So you know it's more than just being able to handle The water hose... At 105 pounds how would you be able to get a very large person safely out of the house if they were unconscious.... Is carry huge packs of many flights of stairs.... I'm sure you know what the brave firefighters and other first responders had to do during 9/11... There has to be strict strict requirements... No exceptions...no standards lowered for anyone...

Firemen should be able to pass a strenuous physical test. Dragging those full of water and spraying high pressure water takes strength. Also rescuing people from fire AND RESCUING OTHER FIREMEN is an important part of the job. We don't want dwarfs being firemen nor do we want 5'4 women . There are LOTS of jobs in this country that certain people are not physical qualified to do. There are lots of jobs that don't require strength to do. My son is a firefighter I do not want him going into a burning building with a partner that can't drag or carry him back out if need be.

They can deal with all this stuff later.
GET people out there and get them on hoses and put the fires out. I don't give a shit what shape they are in right now , I don't care if it is a 400 lb woman just get the fires out with what ever help you can get.
I am all for fitness mandates as I said they can deal with this BS later GET THE FUCKING FIRES OUT!

Nobody is saying they shouldn't have fitness regulations / standards but right now it is way more important to get the fires out, as I said they will have to do it with the people that are volunteering no matter what shape they are in.

They have to be in shape to do that... They shouldn't be there fighting fires if standards were lowered to hire them... Do you disagree.... It's very likely that they could cause more harm than good if they try something that they're not physically capable of doing...

I was also on the first aid squad, one of the youngest Instructors in the state.
and at that time I was also working for a moving company, knowing how to move heavy things came in handy.

I saw a lesbian fire person say if your husband needs me to carry him out of a burning building he has put himself somewhere he should not be. Classic victim blaming. People get trapped in their burning homes every day. We pay firemen to rescue them. If a fire person is not up to the task then they should not be accepting their pay.
