Mental Illness is not to blame for gun violence

Because Medicare does such a fine job now taking care of mentally ill people.

It actually does a terrific job of it, but only if the mentally ill person is diagnosed and in the system.

Otherwise, how do you know someone is mentally ill without an evaluation?

Medicare can't do anything for you if you're not using it or don't have access to it.

You know, something like that was attempted in this last election, and the perpetrator of that fraud was caught, and not because of Voter ID:

Pennsylvania Man Charged With Voter Fraud For Casting Ballot For Drumpf Under Dead Mother’s Name
Bruce Bartman, 70, allegedly registered his deceased mother and mother-in-law to vote using Pennsylvania’s online voter registration portal, both as Republicans, and subsequently requested and returned an absentee ballot on behalf of his late mother.

The guy who attempted to do what I think you're getting at here was caught by the system, not by a Voter ID law.

The system caught the fact those voters were dead, not locked up in an insane asylum like you and Bullshitbob should be. ;)

If we are going to have to live with gun ownership, then I will say that I think only women should be allowed to own guns.
So only women should be granted Constitutional rights.

Far Left Wingers are anti-Constitutional. They think only special people should have rights.

Yeah.

That's where I lean now.

Men can't handle the responsibility of gun ownership.

If they could, 200,000 guns wouldn't go missing every year.

Try staying in the hospital for an extended period of time with a mental illness DRG under Medicare and see how well that works for you.

Depends what their mailing address is. If they are locked in an asylum does not mean they can't receive mail from home.

Does it? Because it seems to me like you're making all of this up as you go.

And I'm pretty sure that people at in-patient mental health facilities don't get their mail.

Just because you don't get your mail does not mean everyone in the mental ward isn't getting their mail.

I worked in a psych ward back in the 70's and patients regularly received mail.

Medicare is different than what you had when you were younger and working. They remind you by email when you need something done or qualify for a new procedure. They also include counseling if you think you are having problems. Medicare saves money by keeping you healthy. They do not get paid by the procedure as our medical system does.
