What is the most common weapon used in mass shootings? Does anybody know where to find solid statistics on this? I would be tempted to suspect that the AR 15 is the most common weapon since it is the target of the left, but does anybody know where to find any statistics that show what weapon really is the most common in these mass shootings?

Why do lefties not know which gun it is, and why are they so much more interested in the less used ar 15?
They are semiautomatic weapons, be it rifle or pistol, the AR15 is the current topic of concern because it has been employed in the more recent mass shootings and raises the question how a 18 year old loser could easily acquire a weapon capable of killing so many in minutes

If an 18 year old loser can acquire either an AR 15 or the weapon responsible for the highest number of mass shootings, why would the AR 15 be the one targeted? If activists want to justify banning a particular gun based on mass shootings, why not target the one that has the been used the most often, is easiest to conceal, and the easiest to afford? Why is the most used gun not even known or discussed? These questions that I am asking are what make me suspect that the anti gun crowd is more interested in anti gun political agenda than the actual mass shooting problem. I am interested in looking at this objectively and understanding the lefty point of view on this, but need some help looking past the glaring problem of the less used mass shooting weapon being targeted. Can you see how it looks? Please help me to see how targeting the less used weapon would reduce mass shootings more than targeting the most used, easiest to hide, and easiest to afford weapon would.

I suppose the AR 15 has been glorified by the media enough to make it a tempting choice, but I do not understand why gun activists do no go after the one that is statistically the main weapon used by mass killers. Can you clear up the math for me?

Simple. There are more handgun owners than AR15 owners, and most AR15 owners also own handguns.
There would be far more of a backlash if handguns were on the ban table. But since the anti gun crowd
knows this, they publicize the AR and idiots use them in their crimes, so to start their disarming of America,
they have to start somewhere, and that somewhere is semi auto rifles.

Anything that acts in the manner of a semi-automatic needs to be banned. Rapid fire means a lot of people are going to die.

Kind of a worthless chart when a vast majority of the people killed and wounded was by rifles and of course the weapon of choice to kill as many as possible is the AR15 and comparable rifles. With a quick count , about 90% are killed by AR15 in all mass shooting.
