Mourdock Implodes

there is this insane spread your seed rightthat some men have.

they think their seed is godlike and has the right to be wether the recepticle likes it or not.

There is one kind of recepticle that has a right to their body that your seed and you can not take from her.

These recepticles fight back.

Never fucking forget it

I agree with you 100% It's good to have you back. I stopped posting a lot because of this shit and because I felt very isolated here. People who I used to think were decent started calling me a crazy bitch because they didn't like being called sexist for their opinions on these issues. But to me the worse thing was seeing the ugly underbelly of men I thought were, hey not great, but okay. It's sickening and depressing and I had enough.

Your posts make me feel good though. And I am with you.

Power baby girl.

Never forget you have it.

These meatsacks would be No where without our body parts.

We are the Key to civilization

women are the future of this planet.

They are shaking in their boots.

Us chicks are not so affraid of their asses anymore

Hey, the DNC has a new ad out:

the only problem is there is not a god.

How am I as a free American supposed to accept a law designed from someone elses false myth about the world?

Why is it the right just refuses to accept that other Americans dont have any reason to accept laws made for someone elses releigions sake?

Your religion is NOT my master.

It's hard to explain the mentality here Tom unless you've spent time in small town/rural America.

I have been to the US a couple of times in the past but never to any of the flyover states.

Curiously enough it was a woman Nadine Dorries that was leading the campaign for the termination limit to be lowered to 20 weeks and subsequently 22 weeks This was from her own practical experience of working as a young nurse in the NHS and seeing late term abortions at first hand. What is truly amazing is that the gestational limit is around 12-13 weeks in most of Europe. The Netherlands and Denmark, which boast some of the lowest teenage pregnancies rates in the Western world, have a limit of 12 weeks.

I love how on this board it's the men who are going to figure out the bitch issues. It goes something like this:

Alias: Bitches be whores, they can keep their dirty legs closed or suffer the consequences. Fucking whores.

Dixie: God willing some day in this great land these misguided oxen won't be permitted to drag their little baby zygotes kicking and screaming "mommy don't kill me mommy i be good i promise!" to their bloody deaths.

Tom: Ahem, here in England, men got together and came up with some eminently reasonable restrictions on abortion. Imagine our horror when the bitches went nuts on us!

Mott: Heh heh, well here in America Tom very few of our politicians are reasonable. So here the bitches have a right to be upset, but I hear ya, I hear ya bud.

Tom: Hopefully some day men like you and I, eminently reasonable men, can come together and rise above all of the noise. God knows I can't stand the "sistahs" screeching any longer. Though don't get me wrong I don't agree with alias or dixie.

Mott: We'll get there buddy.
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't I just say that Mourdock was "fucking ignorant" for making his comment on abortion?

These types of statements are the statements of men who would likely rape if they could get away with it
I think George Carlin said it more poetically when he asked "Have you ever noticed that the people who oppose abortion are people you wouldn't want to fuck anyways?"

And how many who have been at these procedures join her in her efforts?

I wouldn't think that there are many MPs, male or female, that have first hand experience of abortions. In the UK, our gestational limit of 24 weeks is twice the norm for the rest of Europe.

The point is she is ONE medical voice out of VERY many

I doubt that there are many people that pontificate about gestational limits who have practical experience of a late term abortion. I think personally the limit should just under viability which is around 20 weeks. Before you go off on one, bear in mind that even in supremely liberal Sweden the limit is set to 18 weeks and in most of Europe the norm is 12-13 weeks.

Here's something to think about. Republicans have been abandoning Mourdoch like rats jumping from a sinking ship today. Romney had made significant inroads since the first debate with women despite his harsh stance on abortion and his support of the Blunt ammendment during the primaries. Romney has actively supported the Mourdoch campaign and has done TV ads for his campaign. Will Mourdoch's asinine comment turn off just enough women to remind them of Romney's stance on reproductive rights and sink Romney's ship?

God Doesn't Rape Women: Men Do

Did you know that God may be sanctioning "legitimate rapes"?

That's the take-away from a comment made by Indiana Republican Senate candidate Richard Mourdock. According to The Hill, Mourdock said during a Tuesday night debate with Rep. Joe Donnelly, the Hoosier Democratic Senate candidate,

"I struggled with it myself a long time but I came to realize that life is a gift from God, that I think even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape that it is something that God intended to happen."

Due to the uproar that ensued, Murdock was forced to hold a subsequent news conference -- as Missouri Republican Todd "legitimate rape" Akin did in August -- in which he expressed regret at how his statement was "misunderstood," but "stood by" those remarks according to USA Today.

Message to GOP US Senate candidate Mourdock: God doesn't rape women; men do.

This is a horrifying extension of misogyny into victimizing a female rape victim twice -- once for being raped and once for not wanting to bear the child of a rapist. Beyond that, from a theological sense, it implies that the rapist is performing an act of divine intention. This defiles not only the concept of God, but the very basic principle that a woman should be protected from sexual assault.

Of course, Murdock says that's not what he meant. But there is little else to conclude from his words.

The terrifying candor of fundamentalists who assert patriarchal control over the bodies and safety of women has come out of the closet this year. It is a grotesque violation of women, but it is also representative of a view that women are vessels whose role is to receive the divine seed stored within the bodies of men, even if it involves rape.

Truthout can't speak as to whether or not there is an afterlife, but in our existence, here on earth, it is men who rape.

There is nothing divine about it.

So, sometimes when a woman is violated and impregnated against her will, it’s actually a really good thing in the end? Mourdock in an idiot.
