Name three movies you've seen 3-4 times and would like to watch again

Dutch Uncle

* Tertia Optio * Defend the Constitution
I watched "Wind River" again this evening. Great movie. There are over half a dozen movies I've watched several times and would watch again.

Saving Private Ryan
Last Samurai
Harry Brown
Return of the Jedi
Aliens
Wind River

Anyone else have a favorite? It's a Wonderful Life? Scrooged?

"Get busy living or get busy dying."

This is one of the movies I have a Christmas tradition with my family and friends to watch together.

"Squirrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeel!!!!!!!!"

The god father 1 and 2

Reds

The grapes of wrath
"Say hello to my little friend!"

About any Al Pacino movie is worth watching again with the Godfather movies being at the top like Guno mentioned. Scarface was brutal.

It's been quite awhile since I've seen either Reds or Grapes of Wrath and will have to put them on my list. Another great epic like Reds is Ghandi.

Shawshank Redemption is a classic. Well worth watching again.

About any Clint Eastwood movie is worth watching again, especially any Western.

Remember that movie where Clint busted that guy's nuts with a sledgehammer or something and the guy kept asking for ice? I forgot the name of that movie. That was epic.

Also The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. The ending was epic.

Oh yeah "Dark City" and "The Truman Show". I kept watching them over and over again because they're too much damn like how the media, corporations and politics work today.

Pale Rider. I just watched it again a few days ago. High Plains Drifter remains one of my top favorites.

Agreed on GBU, best of the trilogy.

I'd watch Truman Show again but don't recall ever seeing Dark City. I added it to my Netflix DVD que.

I'll name three movies that I have watched at least 10 times and will be certainly be watching again if I dont die soon:

1) Blade Runner

2) The Big Chill

3) Mash

Extra Credit: My annual Christmas move is Miracle on 34th Street, the original, in B&W only.

Does this include porno movies?

Just kidding

Sentimental favourites:

Forrest Gump
Lord of the Rings
Titanic

Yes!

Good pics. I've only seen LOTRs once, but have the set and should watch it again next week when the weather turns bad.

Shawshank, Gladiator, LOTR trilogy. That's only because I'm limited to three. Of the stuff named here, there are many others I've seen multiple times (Aliens, Forrest Gump, Godfather 1/2).

All good movies. Did you enjoy Blade Runner 2049?

One of the best movie soundtracks ever is to the Big Chill.

I have MASH (haven't seen it in years) coming from Netflix and "Suicide is Painless" on my playlist.

Trivia about "Suicide is Painless"; it was cowritten by Director Robert Altman's 14 year old son Michael with Johnny Mandel. The son made over $1M from the song while Director Altman only made $70K from the movie.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suicide_Is_Painless#Background
Director Robert Altman had two stipulations about the song for Mandel: it had to be called "Suicide Is Painless" and it had to be the "stupidest song ever written".[4] Altman attempted to write the lyrics himself, but upon finding it too difficult for his 45-year-old brain to write "stupid enough,"[5] he gave the task to his 14-year-old-son Michael, who wrote the lyrics in five minutes.[6][7][8]

Altman later decided that the song worked so well, he would use it as the film's main theme despite Mandel's initial objections.[9] This version was sung by uncredited session singers John Bahler, Tom Bahler, Ron Hicklin, and Ian Freebairn-Smith, and the single was attributed to "The Mash". Robert Altman said that while he only made $70,000 for having directed the movie, his son had earned more than $1 million for having co-written the song.[10]

My main purpose was to both see what others liked but, mainly, pick up ideas for anything I haven't seen. You are free to add anything you like. :)

Agreed on your picks.

The first 6 Star Wars.

Did you enjoy Blade Runner 2049? ......I liked it well enough the one time I watched it....it does not call me.

One of the best movie soundtracks ever is to the Big Chill. ....That is true, and a lot of people agree....but this movie is magic on so many levels.

I dont know that I ever knew that but I probably did....I was a fanatic about the series, in fact just last week I got done watching the entire thing again. Most of the episodes I have seen over 20 times, the only exceptions are the last year or so, and only because my life got too busy. In my conservative mid west town/city (we could not make up our minds) Mash ran 3-5 times a day for years.

What a good thread idea. Thanks.

1. The Gods Must Be Crazy
2. The African Queen
3. Love Actually

#3 is a holiday movie. Holidays would not be the same without watching it. It replaced 'It's a Wonderful Life' for me.
