New plan for Democracy.

It is the epitome of stupid, to vote against your interests because you fear someone thinks you are stupid.
Again, therein lies the problem. You are so smug and condescending that you think YOU know what is best for people. The fact that you would say that you know their interests better than they do shows just how out of touch you really are and why your side lost.

Don't worry, the country will probably convulse back in 2026 and you guys will claim that you have won the hearts and souls of the people again. But, the reality is that the American people are a fickle bunch.

For any one part to think they have a lock on them is foolish.

It is naive for the right to think that this win will be transformational for the Republican Party. It could be, but I never underestimate the power of the Republicans and Decepticons to fuck things up.

Donald Trump whether you like him or not is probably the most transformational politician of my lifetime and that includes Reagan, Clinton and Obama. You may deny that, but facts would prove you wrong.

Continue to live in your bubble if you choose, but it will only serve you up disappointment

She lost because trump knows how to play the crowd very well.
but you guys said he paid the crowd and that he didn't have a crowd

so you are saying Oprah, Beyonce and the other assorted celebrities that had to be paid to be on stage with her couldn't play the crowd?

Let me ask you. Do you think she should run again in 2028?

If America even has midterm elections in 2026, Democrats need to stop campaigning for smart people. You've won them already.

Speak to the stupid people. In the dumbest possible terms. Dummies decide elections and a huge chunk of the country is dumb.
Clearly, you have no idea why the Heels Up Harris campaign failed bigely. It's probably best if you stick to selling auto warranties over the phone.

This election was a seminal event. It is not hyperbole to say that it is the most meaningful event in decades.

The Democratic nominee had every advantage...the media, unlimited funding (nearly one billion that has now resulted in a twenty million dollar deficit) the celebrities in Hollywood, and an incumbent VP.

But the Republicans had Donald Trump, who ran a brilliant campaign spending 356 million to Harris' 881 million (US News). He was laser focused on the issues while Harris was a no show on the issues and flip-flopping the few times that she did show up.

The Republicans had teams of volunteers and lawyers to challenge every attempt by the Democrats to cheat. Lara Trump performed brilliantly in her position as the RNC Co-Chair. President-elect Trump should be very proud of his family.

On election night, I and many others, were shocked at the magnitude of the success of the Red Team. The presidency and the Senate were flipped and it appears that the House will remain with the Republicans.

I was skeptical of a victory by the Republicans. I thought that cheating and the massive bias of the media and the huge advantage in campaign funding would prevent this type of victory.

Trump broke the Democrats, hopefully for a very long time.

It’s morning in Americ

What about it makes is a seminal event any more than any other election?

Trump had amazing advantages:

He survived two assassination attempts he was able to parlay into attention and support. An assassination attempt always = support afterwards.

Trump has run for president something like 6 times, this was Harris's first attempt. Harris is a woman, clearly a disadvantage as illustrated by the last three elections.

Nobody tried to cheat.

Trump can only serve one term and is already a lame duck.

It was a closer election than when Biden beat Trump, and you all claimed that was very close.

Wake up.

I agree trump is the most transformational president of our time, but I think is is transforming in a bad way.

Trump did both, he paid them and played the ones he got.

To hear him, he was going to win in a landslide, not a close one.

We took a hard right turn on Tuesday. It's hard to remember a time when Republicans had this much control - they've won Congress & the WH before, but w/ SCOTUS now right-wing, Dems really have no power whatsoever.

If history is any gauge, they'll take the mandate too far, and voters will respond. They'd be smart not to if they want to build a lasting coalition - but so far, it looks like they're doing the usual.

The did that this time, and it didn't work very well did it?

"Anyone who does not agree with me is stupid, and must be manipulated into doing and thinking as I say"?
That is pretty much how the Left rolls...
