LBJ did great things to help the poor and blacks. Trumps father was in the KKK and marched in the NYC KKK march. Trump and his father have been sued and lost for refusing to rent to blacks. lBJ helped create the Voting Rights Act and the Civil rights act. What has trump ever done for someone else.?

Robert Byrd, someone Democrats elected for a long time, recruited for the KKK.

What do you say LBJ did to help blacks? Social welfare expansion, create programs that replaced the father with the government as the head of the family?

Blacks have been doing for 50 years what LBJ said he have them doing for the next 200 related to voting. He said he would and they obliged. If it's any consolation, they only have 150 left to go.

No, he did not say that. What he said was that Democrats likely WOULD get black votes for helping them get justice (reportedly he used the n word, as he did especially talking to southerners that they seemed to like), not that that's why he did it.

That is what a lot of racist southerners said, and LBJ said it - whether because he was comfortable with it or as part of how he spoke to gain the agreement of the southern politicians he was fighting on civil rights. But his actions for civil rights speak a lot louder.

She did post a link to Snopes saying that while he was arrested at a rally, it was not shown he was participating with the KKK rather than just being a passerby, and not charged with anything. There are other things on him.
