He's an excellent game manager, especially for how short a time he has been in the league in a starting role!
When if ever did a rookie QB get this far in the playoffs?
Steelers 2004-2005, 15-1 record, won the division but lost the AFC championship.

49'ers have a very good defense, I think it will be a close game.
Purdy is everything I thought. A good defense can easily keep him to few points
The Eagles couldn't of asked for an easier championship matchup IMO

I'm picking the 49ers and the Chiefs.
Anyone watching? I realize some on my side of the political aisle quit the NFL a few years backbut surely there are some like me who hung in there. I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the games this weekend and even though they’ve gone about like I have figured, most have been closer than I thought they would be … cough…Bills…cough.
Went to Buffalo Wild Wings after church last night to watch Cincinnati and Baltimore. Glad Cincinnati pulled it out.
Looking forward to the next couple of weeks.
The Bengals are the hottest team in the NFL at the moment and we own KC.
I see the Bengals taking a quick two score lead and our defense keeping Mahomes off the field and running the clock out on them pretty much like they did against Buffalo.
Bengals vs Eagles in the SB.
IMO S.F is the more hard nosed team with the better coach. Come playoffs thats what normally wins. Close one.....S.F...23- Philly 20
I like watching Purdy go beyond the expectations.
I don't see why such a big deal is made over Purdy. Maybe I haven't watched enough. He seems to throw a bunch of short screen passes, nothing genius or Superman athletic like Mahomes. Just don't see it.
I guess Garappolo is just out of a job now?
Lots of OU connection with the Bengals. Some with the Chiefs and Eagles. I don't mind seeing any of them. Just hoping San Francisco doesn't make it ... and even if they do, who wouldn't rood for Purdy? Looking forward to what I get to see of today's games.
If you give Purdy the time, he is one of the best passers, and able to read defenses, as well as any veteran QB in the league right now, and so far, as a rookie!
And SF clearly has the very best defense in the league this year.
They were too much for my Cowboys last week, and made Dak look like the rookie trying to force things to happen, when the plays were way covered by the SF defensive backs.
The Eagles Defense is also very good this year. And Hurts is like several of the other great young QB's out there that will just take it on themselves to win, like Mahomes and all of the other QB's that were in the playoffs this year including Purdy.
SO great matchup! I'll just guess like everybody else.
Eagles's 31 - 49'ers 27
