I think it has more to do with the easy federal money Biden and other Democrats were handing out drying up under Trump. With no generous, unchecked funding coming from the government, many Leftist groups simply no longer have the money to do anything in particular. Their members, generally being low wage earners and welfare recipients, can't put the cash up themselves.

Maybe, there are undoubtedly examples of that, but I think guys like Soros and other scumbags live Neville Singham have funded most of the violent protests and they are feeling the heat right now.
