Not So Absurd... Cars Kill, Let's Ban 'em

Its implicit in your assertion that one "needs to be prepared to pay the price". Its a roundabout deferment to unjust laws, and I think that's what the board spaz was making note of.

No just a way to view the situation logically.
One can understand how a system works without agreeing or disagreeing with it's results.

But one doesn't need to defer to unjust laws.

It would be like saying you shouldn't smoke pot, because the punishment for pot is crucifixion, and when you get crucified, its because you broke the law, oh well, you shouldn't smoke pot.

Its complacency at best, bending over to authority at second best, and enabling at worst..

Umm guys with guns and jails seem to say resistance if futile.
Not to mention the courts which will take everything you own , if the lawyers leave anything.

As I said , a logical viewpoint.

It is also pragmatic to work towards a change in the law rather than just say, "If you do the crime be prepared to go to jail regardless of whether it is justified..."

Bah. Pot smoking is decriminalized in Mississippi. I'm gonna light one up right now.

Hey, wait, does anyone know where the pot store is? I lost contact with all my druggie friends whenever I left that minimum wage job...

Not if I am not planning on doing the crime.
:D

I will leave changing the law to the youngsters, they will have to put up with them longer.

Cops and such, sworn to enforce the law.

Don't tase me Bro!

Unfortunatley, much of the police force in this country have been directed away from their duty to "Protect and Serve" thier community to a more authoritarian, tax collecting role.

Fuck the PO-lice, straigh from the undergound!
