I have never claimed to be "in the middle", that's just you thinking that Libertarians are "middle" folk... Hint... we aren't.When one claims to be in the middle then only attacks one side, they ain't in the middle.
I'm clearly not a MAGAt fan but have always been supportive of traditional Republican values. Especially the rights of the individual. MAGAts think those rights only belong to people like them and no one else.
If you've been a staunch Republican like I had been for 38 years, beginning in the mid-70s, then you'd have seen how much the party's values have changed over the years. Especially after Newt took over. It's worse now with the Party of Trump. Not something either Barry "Mr. Conservative" Goldwater nor Ronald Reagan would support, IMO

I attack one side more than the other because I distrust them far more. They are good at convincing themselves that they are perfect, I distrust idiots who think they are perfect and have convinced themselves they are "smarter" than other folks.
The courts say they violated folks rights, leftists say, "That never happened"... they come up with their own "facts" then call actual facts "disinformation" and threaten companies to remove that information.
Most importantly we have a chasm of difference in the main central theme of political ideas. If they see a problem their first reaction is, "There ought to be a law!" and they believe that the only way Congress is doing what they should is when they are passing more laws... I summarily disagree. The first reaction to a problem should never be looking to government to solve your problems, government is almost always the source of problems.
