what if its a bad investment?? IE they drop out or fail out?? do they have to pay for the cost then??

I actually like this idea. I think it could also be coupled with welfare. Help those on welfare learn a new skill set that can help them to get a better job and move up etc....

Could probably add on some type of daycare as well to make it easier to attend classes for parents.

Education is the key. This would be one of the places to start.

all the dems need to do and i dont know a person making over 250 that would hurt over it... is to rollback bush tax cuts.. to 250K... this wont effect small business owners and middle class in East and west expensive zones.

if you start targeting 150K... that fucks with middle class in NY BOSTON WASHINGTON, CHICAGO, LA, SANFRAN... etc.

Take that money and make it revenue Neutral ..
one such revenue neutrality is to encourage college by making a tax deduction like this.

There is no 100% guarantee on every single individual who is part of this. In fact, I have no doubt that there are some who will fail, and abuse the privelege.

OVERALL, we will likely have a more educated society. A more educated society is a more productive society. A more productive society earns more. When individuals earn more, tax revenues increase, and the economy as a whole benefits greatly.

Ergo, better education ultimately = less tax dollars taken from Robdawg's pocket.
