They are predicting a two thirds chance that Republicans will lose the Senate, and a two thirds chance Republicans will win the House. That means a real chance that Republicans will lose both.

But that is based on what is happening right now. There is a real chance, I would argue a likelihood bordering on certainty, that there will be October Surprises(plural). trump is clearly planning something... And I doubt it will go well for Republicans.
 
Biden's answer to the OPEC's deceasing oil production. Draw oil out of the SOR for 10 more days. The moron has already drawn it down to dangerous levels to a 40 year low. He has to try to keep prices down until after the election. Gasoline is on the rise again.

Biden wants to reach out to Dictators in Venezuela and Iran for oil. Biden wants to ease sanctions on the illegitimate leaders of Venezuela. The US doesn't even recognize Venezuela. We are legitimizing an illegitimate regime because we don't want to drill more here.

When WE pump oil out of American ground WE pay royalties to the land owners like ME. And WE pay for the oil from well investors like ME. And the oil refinery companies are traded on the American stock exchange where Americans buy stock in them. Those refineries are built with American labor and equipment and supplies on American soil. All of that pays Americans and employs Americans. That is better than sending our money overseas to people that don't like us.

We should just nationalize the oil and gas companies, that way We the People control the oil and gas and aren't beholden to private multinational corporations.

So you agree that there is no benefit to the XL pipeline moving Canada's toxic sludge to foreign owned refineries who pay NO taxes on their profits?

Further, you admit that the issue isn't Biden. It's the dividends you demand from your investments, along with Wall St. refusing to fund new pumping to drive up the cost of oil.

I know it's completely fucking stupid.

They talk about the oil like it's ours, but they keep forgetting that "we" only own what is in the strategic reserve. Everything else is owned and controlled by private companies.
