Ohio Senate passes measure forcing hospitals to administer ivermectin, other patient-requested treatments

Seems like I know that you are trained as a doctor....what do you think of hospitals writing protocols and threatening that if anyone does not follow them they will lose their career? At this point is there any point to even having doctors? I think this is why so many doctors are leaving the profession....this is not what they signed up for.
Yes, you are your own doctor now. Just Google your symptoms and order rfk's recommendations. You got this!

Yep they did not pay for my education. If they want to call all of the shots they should just get a computer.

Yes people with covid were murdered in the hospitals. I swear your tin foil hat is on too tight.
By sending people with COVID home from the ER with no treatment and telling them only to return if their symptoms became much worse the hospital botched their jobs. An effective home treatment plan should have been developed. Patient were basically abandoned and told fly or die. I had a brother in law that died because he was sent back home from the ER without effective treatment. When he returned he was so sick he never recovered and died in the hospital. His care was mismanaged.

Yes don't help the patients breathe. Fuck em no vents.
Or wait till they need vents before you admit and treat them. That is what happened to my brother in law. He was sent home from the ER twice! When he returned the 3rd time he was on a vent by his second day of admission. He never came off the vent. His PEEP got so high he blew a hole in his lung. It would have been better to send him home on a pulmonary treatment plan and admit him if he returned with worsening symptoms like his second visit symptoms demonstrably were. BTW Trump activating a war time powers to get manufactures to build more vents is the reason hospitals had more vents.

That is absolutely wrong. However, that is what the right is pushing. The right is anti-science including medical science. They want to tell doctors how to do their jobs. They want doctors to follow medicine as dictated by Fox Gnus.
The only bureaucrats telling doctors what they can do are working for Health insurance companies.
The right knows only females need Tampons and men do not have a penis. Health insurance bureaucrats have a financial incentive to deny care. For example limiting the amount of anesthesia they will pay for. I have done thousands of anesthetics and I can't remember a single surgery where we said let's make it longer to make more money.

Bingo. I used to work in managed care as a utilization review nurse for workers comp insureds. The injured workers' physicians, per the WC insurance companies' rules, had to request authorizations for everything except minor initial diagnosis and treatment. Example: Guy falls at work and gets a torn rotator cuff. Anything beyond an initial CT, NSAIDs, and a few sessions of physical therapy had to be approved by one of us UR nurses. Even the length of time the injured worker could stay in the hospital following surgery was dictated in a large manual we had. It is the same way for all forms of health insurance. My youngest has MS. Her neurologist routinely has to go to battle with her insurance company to get her meds and diagnostics covered.

Why wait? We already have insurance companies acting as gatekeepers that block diagnostics, treatments, medications, procedures. An actual physician would know this.
And if you don't like the coverage of Insurance company A you can go to Insurance company B When doctors refuse to accept Insurance A it forces them to increase their coverage or people will turn to insurance company B. With a single payer system there is no other place to go to.

Yeah they should have not helped him breathe and sent him home to die. Great call "doctor"

You are an idiot. You get the insurance plan that your employer offers, period. Have you ever priced a private insurance plan? Obviously not. Once again, a real "doctor" would be aware of this. Every physician I have had knew what my insurance plan would cover, and what would need pre-authorization.

We have Medicare insurance, as well as many choices of supplemental plans. We are very happy with both and wish the rest of our fellow Americans could enjoy the benefits we do.

It's amusing how triggered you get when challenged.
