Reading on a couple of football sites that they are reporting the suspect is down. Any confirmations?

You guys are so thick today. It's real simple. The media does not refer to any terrorist by religion unless it's Muslim. I'm not talking about JPP posters, your next-door neighbor or the families of McVeigh's victims. I'm saying that a dark-skinned person was seen running from the blast, and immediately it's all over the media that a Muslim Saudi is the person of interest. Dozens of people ran from the blast but only the Saudi is targeted... now why on earth would that make me think of profiling and reflexive bigotry?

Don't bother answering, it was a rhetorical question.

My argument stands because 80% of the major bombings in American were done by Americans, not foreigners, not Muslims.

I am watching it but I can't answer you because no one knows yet. I mean, I can give you an "exclusive" and say yeah they got him pinned on a boat alright, and he was heard to say "i'm gonna need a bigger boat". Does seem like something big is going on but no one on tv knows shit, so they are all babbling like hyenas.

I'm stuck in this office an hour and 15 minutes away from home (if i'm lucky) with no TV and no alcohol. This is darn near inhumane treatment on a Friday afternoon. Considering the circumstances I believe I am well behaved.

You, Damo and the others can try your hardest to take this argument in a separate direction but you're all failing miserably. Let me dumb it down as much as I can. Where has the media publicized all these killers as Christian?

Ted Bundy, serial killer. James Holmes, mass murderer. Jared Loughner, attempted assassin and murderer. Ted Kaczynski, unabomer. Paul Curtis, ricin mailer. Eric Rudolph, Olympic Park bomber. Mark David Chapman, Lennon murderer. Seung-Hui Cho, Virginia Tech killer. Adam Lanza, Newtown murderer.

I mentioned Rudolph before you even posted on the thread. I know he was Christian and anti-choice, but his crimes weren't blamed on the religion. Feel free to show me anything where it was. With the marathon bombers, immediately we got hit with BS about the religion of peace and killing for Islam, first with the innocent Saudi kid and then with the Chechen brothers. In fact, you yourself said the older kid wrote on FB that he did this because of his religion. So far you're the only person who said that; I haven't found it anywhere else and when I looked at the younger kid's page, it was 90% Chechen and unreadable to me.

Here's a sampling of headlines about Rudolph. The word "Christian" isn't mentioned in any of them. The crimes weren't blamed on his religion. If you have something to disprove this, I'll be happy to take a look.
