Operation Spiderweb is fascinating

As you know, we have some disagreements as to the Ukraine regime's autonomy. That being said, even if things are more the way you think then the way I think, it shouldn't matter- it's far better for both Russia and the U.S. to atleast -pretend- that Ukraine is the one in control, because it allows both to treat -each other- with more respect, which is how it should be, considering both could cause the destruction of the world.
Pretending that abusers are not abusers almost never works out well.

The Russians are desperate to avoid nuclear WW3, but I dont think letting America off for its crimes is the way to go, it encourages the criminals to escalate.

I think -anyone- with any influence to avoid a third world war should be desperate to avoid one. That being said, I certainly agree that those who orchestrated this war should be held to account. I just don't think that that's easy to do, especially with a lot of NATO countries' own citizens thinking that they are doing the 'right thing'. I think that Russia's making the right choice in currently focusing on Ukraine while subtly drawing some attention to its backers. Because as bad as things are now, there is unfortunately a lot of room for things to get so much worse. Trying to avoid that 'so much worse' bit is important.

If anyone can get this done it is Xi and Putin.....they have a plan.....I hope it works.

Putin talks a lot about how America and the West are demonic, Evil, vampires.....I suspect that these two understand that world better than I do....the biggest mistake I have made this life is being overly optimistic....I have had too much faith in my fellow man.

I dont agree with what the Russians are doing, but this does not mean that the Russians are wrong.

Oh STFU with your boozed-up nihilism, biitch!

Very interesting talk of a war game from the Pentagon where the Imperial Empire thinks they can launch a first strike nuclear war from close range (poland/romania) where the Russian Regime gets decapitated, and the Empire then invades Russia through the Baltics and Ukraine.

A billion people die but the Empire thinks it wins.

As I argued in the post you're responding to, I think that is false for the most part. As Scott Ritter pointed out, Ukraine targetted a lot of Russia's nuclear deterence capabilities- I'm sure you know that Russia hasn't hit Ukraine with any nukes as of yet. Your sentence makes another false assertion as well, this notion that Russia is targetting civilians. While Ukraine has certainly done this, I've seen no indication that Russia has.

Isn't the reverse of that the case - Russia has bombed Ukrainian cities; Ukraine hasn't bombed Russian cities aside from a few relatively harmless drone strikes.

The Vietnamese shot down 16 B-52's with Russian help. They would have also been used to carry nuclear weapons. Obviously, they were not carrying nuclear weapons in the Vietnam War, much like the Russian bombers would not carry nuclear weapons in the Ukrainian War.

Should we have nuked Moscow over that?

What were B52s doing in Vietnam?

Vietnam is 7000 miles from the US and poses no threat.
Ukraine is on the Russian border and is a constant threat.
So that logic means every country bordering Russia has a right to attack them. Rusia has a long history of expansionism, taking over neighboring states. Want the war to end. Putin can stop attacking a neighboring country. The war would be over.
