Wow, you can't read very well, can you? I said "leave Iraq immediately AND change our foreign policy for the better". Kucinich is not a bad guy, I'm just not a fan of the type of bigger government he espouses. However, Kucinich wants to "wage peace" and start a "Dept. of Peace". Peace does not require a government department, in fact it requires far less empire building and world cop nonsense that we have been engaging in since 1900 (read: less government). So, I don't see his plan as changing our foreign policy for the better. Moreover, I think it's a reasonable assertion to point out that Kucinich faces greater obstacles in gaining the nomination than Ron Paul, who still faces rather steep odds as it is. At least Ron Paul has a considerable movement behind him on the web, nationwide meet-up groups, as well as over $8 million in the bank and probably a lot more to come before the primaries begin.

Oh, and where the fuck do you get off calling Ron Paul "unstable"?!? He's a medical doctor who has delivered over 4,000 babies as well as a father, grandfather, and devoted husband. Your assertion reveals self-evaluation would be beneficial. Take some time to relax each day and collect your thoughts - it helps to curb apoplectic episodes.

I've had it with political expediency, and I will no longer, ever vote for it again. I'm tired of being a "given" by one of the parties, I'm tired of the duopoly claiming ownership of my vote before I've even voted. Maybe its impractical, and maybe it will never get me anywhere, but I'm voting my conscience from here on out. Period.

A vote for the lesser of the two evis is still a vote for evil, and I won't do that ever again. Paul is really the only guy I really like in this race. And when it comes to a general election, if he's not on the ballot, I'll see about third party candidates or write in votes.

Truly, I'm tired of these corporatle like, monolithic, mountains of money political parties tellimg me who I can and can't vote for. Its so contrarian to true Democracy its pathetic.

I'm going to do that if Hillary is the candidate...but to me, it is delusional to pretend that Obama, who was against this war and said so since before we went in, is "the same" as say Rudy. He's not. So I would vote for him in the general if he is the nominee. And I would vote for Edwards, he is not the same either, I believe.

Again, you demonstrate your inability or unwillingness to read my posts. I didn't call Kucinich a hypocrite, I just said I don't agree with some of his ideas. It is hypocritical, however, to pretend to be against the war as many liberals do, and then support Hillary Clinton or another Democratic candidate who has clearly demonstrated their support for the war through Congressional voting records.

Also, I mentioned that Ron Paul is a medical doctor who has delivered 4,000 children, a father, husband, and grandfather. I know that you know almost nothing about mental illness because clearly one who is "unstable" as you put it is not able to accomplish such things. I actually work with many people who suffer from mental illness and I can tell you that anything approaching "unstable" makes it very difficult for a person to hold down a job and maintain relationships, etc. So again, try a little harder to read and think with greater clarity before posting as it's getting a little embarassing.

BAC, I understand your hatred for Dr. Paul. You view him as a racist and view his policies to be detrimental. However, I do not view his policies to be. Our Federal government is too large and needs to be reduced in order to keep them in check to what their role should be. I don't see any of the Republicans that hold true to that philosophy, but may pay it lip service. The only one I see who does that is Ron Paul. I do not believe he will win the primaries, let alone the presidency (though I like to joke that he will). I do however, believe that the more votes he gets, the seriousness of his message will be amplified. That in turn may start to change the Republican party when they lose the presidency and more senate seats in the next few elections. They will need a new formula, constant losing will force the change, and seeing a growth in desire for smaller government will start to take hold. Feel free to slam me as delusional for this belief, but I think it can happen.

In his speech at Independence Mall, the GOP congressman from Texas spoke off-the-cuff about the growing momentum of his campaign and touched upon familiar topics such as abolishing the Federal Reserve and Internal Revenue Service and ending the war in Iraq.
