Peanuts is dead

Wiccans have been around less than a hundred years. It is a made up religion of wanna be's trying to legitimize the pagan rituals of the Druids and others. Wicca arose in the 1960's along with Anton Lavey and other fakers playing off of the fraud of Allister Crowley and Rasmussen. Wicca is a joke, a made up religion for bored suburban housewives desperate to shock others with their rebellion against societal norms. Wicca, like Kwanza - is 100% fabricated.

You mean it's the New Age equivalent of "Kwanzaa"?

Maybe, just maybe, you don't know as much about Wicca as you think.

Allister Crowley was a showman, something akin to P.T. Barnum. He was also an occultist.

Wicca is a made up religion - just as Kwanza is a made up holiday.

Wicca is an amalgamation of diverse pagan ideas spanning from India, to China, to the Celts, to the Babylonians.

Crowley was a huckster, a fraud. Fleecing the gullible and stupid. So was Lavey - but to his credit he admitted as much and openly mocked those who took him seriously. In his own way, he was pretty funny when one grasped that it was all satire and mockery.

Wicca though, Wicca takes itself seriously and tries to invent a reality that never was.

There was a time that the majority of Jews thought that the Jewish Rabi, Christ, was just 100% Fabricated.

That's nice.

Most Wiccans today, accept Christ as the son-of-God, and someone who died on the cross, to earn mankind forgiveness from God the Father.

Who cares?

It doesn't change the fact that Wicca is a made up hodge podge of conflicting ideas from Hinduism, Druidism, Native American mysticism, Babylonian occultism thrown into a blender to make a nonsensical pablum for those who crave rebellion against society.

Most Wiccans today, in their core values and beliefs, are closer to some of the native American Tribal Religions, say the Pueblo Native Americans, than anything else in any major religion. We are a people who greatly honor peace, art, trade and community.

Again, Wicca is a joke. It isn't a religion, it's a fashion statement.

The apostles all denied Christ at the end.

Crowley has nothing to do with Wicca.

Wiccans are widely diverse in their practices and beliefs. They are also the smallest religion in modern times.

I have no desire to "Prove" to anyone here I am a good Christian, as was attempted to be used by a Leftie, in defense of Carter, which started this discussion on religion.

I don't need to defend my belief in Christ as my savior, it is in my heart, and he already knows.

Wiccans, like many native American Tribal religions, is a belief filled with many Gods and Demigods, with a foundational belief in Christ. But by strict definitions, we are a poly-theist religion, which makes our members under threat of extinction by torture, by the world's largest religion, Radical Islam.

Some of my best friends are Moderate Muslims. They too are under great threat of violence by the Radical Muslims. There is no one on earth more likely to be killed by the Radical Muslims, than the Moderate Muslims. But Wiccans are not far behind them.

Wiccans are a small people, humble, curious, quiet, helpful, and we make great neighbors.

At least, I think so...

Meanwhile, Nathan Bedford Forrest was the greatest Calvary General in American history. He had no formal military training but learned survival tactics growing up in the wilderness.

He once was surrounded by soldiers who were fighting the War of Northern Aggression and he attacked in opposite directions. I don’t believe he lost a man.

He never lost one engagement.

@WinterBorn doesn't like it when people go off-topic in threads, you know.

Hardly my fault, but whatever.

@WinterBorn doesn't like it, of course .... sometimes, anyway. Or so he says.
He will get over it.

“Mr. Bluebird on my shoulder, it’s the truth, it’s actual, everything is satisfactual.”

“Lots of sunshine headed my way.”

“Song of the South.”
