So forcing others to follow your religen is required to practice your religen?
They may practice their religion, at home or at church. It is where it should be practiced and taught, but public school is not the place. Other religions use to sit back and tolerate it because they thought they had no choice. Then a very brave women sued and the overtly Christian practices were removed from public schools. It is all about being fair.

Not going to try for much on this phone but will say this: You first claim they're lying...I show you why they don't think they are. Now you've gone from that to "forcing others to follow..." Wait a damn minute, where do you get that, in public school, your Constitutional right to exercise religion is void? Nothing in the 1st Amendment restricts where you can exercise religious beliefs, so why do you libtards believe it should be restricted on government property... hell, that should be the one place it is protected the most emphatically!!!
Sounds like your bretherns are the obtuse ones...I never remember praying in public school and I lived in Kansas. Do any of you other older folks remember pray in school? We had a couple moments of silence, but that was for students or teachers who had died. I remember because I transferred from my parochial school to a public school and liked the change.

Children can pray anytime anywhere they like while at school, don't know where you get the idea otherwise?
I have never seen any children made to stop praying in school, like someone mentioned, it can not be done as a Class,lead by the teacher. There is even a Bible Club at our high school, but it is not sponsored by the school and a parent is the chaperone.

So I should have my kid in class and every 35 minutes he gets down and prays to the fluffy mattress in the sky. The school should support that too because it's his religion. And the muslims who need to pray toward Mecca and bring prayer matts along? And the Wiccans?(I don't have a clue what they do) Just keep things simple, pray silently when you take a test, and loudly at home.
Liberals don't have a problem with the kids praying to their god in school, the problem is when the Jordanian kid whose parents just immigrated and speaks maybe 50 words of english has to be a part of a christmas party. Have your parties at home, leave politics out of the classroom(if you can) and leave religion out of the classroom. Do the unlikely thing, have CLASS in the classroom and then go home and live your life.
Where I come from Prayer is a personal thing. I do not belvie in making a show out of it, Tim Tebow style or in a school setting. Prayer is so easily done without disrupting others, by design.

Love Tim Tebow!! I've got Gronkowski on my fantasy team but am rooting for the Denver defense (the main reason behind Denver's success of late) to slow him and Brady down next week. I hated Tebow in college but tend to root for someone when the "experts" say they can't do something. And no it doesn't bother me that he kneels at games. He also tries to stress that it is a team effort as well. I haven't rooted for the Broncos since the Elway days but have been rooting for them as of late.
When was the last time a public school held a Christmas program? (Let alone one they forced some Jordanian kid to participate in.)
