When life begins should be left up to the science, the determination of a beating heart, and not religion. The Bible, as well as other religions teachings, have nothing on it. Still we have a defiance of science, to gut feelings. Apparently the moment that little sperm enters the egg, it has a soul. But if that is the case, those poor souls are killed off often then, because fertilized eggs don't often take. I'm pro-life, but politics needs to leave sexual victims alone. Pushing of religion in governance, or making it required, is always indoctrination. With the changing dynamics in America, they really don't want that.

You're not answering the question. I said NOTHING about religion. It was about FREEDOM. Freedom includes the "right to life", and the "Pursuit of happiness" both of which the child in the womb, which science has proven the life of begins at conception, is being denied not by natural circumstances, but by the wishes of one half of the equation since the father has no say.

So, once again, I will ask what does freedom have to do with the taking of a life simply for the convenience of the woman?
