It could definitely be a liberal area thing but I still feel like its just more a college (progressive) thing. I always heard America referred to as a melting pot growing up. I never head of racial microaggressions nor safe spaces. I didn't hear of people being called "they" and different pronouns either like today. Certain things are clearly very different.

The whole premise/belief is there are racial issues minorities face beyond just blatant racism like someone calling someone the n-word.

If you're referring to Biden, Warren, and Sanders, only two of them are white. And the only reason Biden is in the lead is because he was Obama's veep. People who don't follow politics that closely recognize Biden and that's why they're supporting him. Politics is a popularity contest and Biden is the most popular Democrat running.

But yes, I'm sure white Liberals are more willing to support the white candidates, just like the white Conservatives are more willing to support the white candidates. Part of the reason Trump got elected was his promise to build a wall to keep out Mexicans.

I agree that if it's a public company, they shouldn't be allowed to discriminate, because we all fund public companies.
But private companies aren't being propped up with our taxes. Yeah, they're getting a tax break, but they're still using their own money for that apartment building.

Private companies get the most breaks. Without the government they wouldn't be where they are.
