Question for our gun enthusiast friends.

You're not understanding. I'm not saying the two are the same. I'm saying that if laws won't stop one, why would they stop the other?

So if laws against abortions won't reduce abortions, we probably shouldn't have said laws.

They won't stop abortion. They'll merely stop *safe* abortions.

If banning guns is pointless because people can just get guns on the black market, is banning abortion also pointless?

Gun ownership rights are guaranteed by the Constitution; banning them is unconstitutional. Abortion is not mentioned in the Constitution, therefore, making them illegal is not unconstitutional.

So let's deconstruct your strawman argument; who has ever stated that laws or bans will prevent things from ever happening? Anyone?

Lastly; does France have extremely restrictive gun laws? Yes or NO?

Maybe if we started calling them undocumented weapons, liberals would be more concerned of protecting the right to have them.

Why? Women will start shoving coat hangers up their vaginas? How about abstinence? Birth control? Adoption? All are much better alternatives to going through the pain and mental anguish of abortion.
