Question for our gun enthusiast friends.

wrong.......it isn't a guinea hen before brain activity and a panda after.......its a living panda before and a living panda after......just like humans.......again, some of you folks don't understand science.......

No, it's a clump of cells before, and eventually it develops a consciousness and a body to become a panda. Did you go to college?

Let's say, hypothetically, that muh constitution doesn't exist.

I don't do LAME hypothetical. I prefer to base my arguments on reality. The Constitution exists; pretending that it doesn't is moronic and LAME.

Will laws fail to prevent abortions the way gun enthusiasts claim that laws fail to prevent people from buying guns?

Who has ever stated that gun laws would prevent people from buying guns? The actual argument is that gun laws will not prevent gun crimes. Buying a gun doesn't always lead to a crime. Abortion always leads to murder. See the difference?

One of the arguments I regularly hear is that banning guns wouldn't work because people can just get guns on the black market.

Now if you don't use this argument, ok, but this thread is for people who do use that argument.

Banning abortion is also unconstitutional.

It is unconstitutional for the federal government to do so. It is NOT unconstitutional for a State to ban abortion. The federal government does not have authority to pass laws concerning murder except for specific cases which are listed in the Constitution.
