Question for our gun enthusiast friends.

Lie.

It always was.

The courts did not change a thing.

Yes it was.

Lie.

Lie.

It is. You are lying. You are making arguments by repetition. You are making arguments of the Stone fallacies. You making redefinition fallacies.

You want to install a fascism by oligarchy using the courts as the oligarchy.

Posting "lie" or "fallacy" is not an argument. Show us where immigration control was "always" part of naturalization.

And everything you say is a "lie" is simple fact everyone but you recognizes.

They don't have to.
You register your car don't you?
Sure. It's the tax system we use to pay for roads. It also provides a record of ownership. I register my aircraft too. It helps to pay for airports, navigation facilities, and ATC. Both cars and aircraft cost considerably more than a gun. Guns do not require the use of a road or the use of FAA or State provided facilities.
I bet, if you refused to register your car- and got caught, you would have to pay a hefty fine or even have your car taken away from you and impounded!
Nope. I can leave my car unregistered as long as I want, so long as I don't drive on public roadways with it.

Perhaps you should go find out what 'naturalization' means and why it is used.

Lie. Redefinition fallacy (fact<->Universal Truth). You don't know the meaning of 'fact' either.

Hey thanks for all of your comments.

You sound like an intelligent responsible gun owner.

But, I am asking people like you to think a little more intelligently and responsibly and just realize all of the problems that would instantly come from not requiring people to have a license to drive in public, or without a registration permit, or Vehicle ID no.

Can you imagine you buying a car from someone who didn't even own the car, a thief perhaps? DO you see where I am going?

These measures are put in place to protect your gun ownership and investment, and protect everyone's safety!

Same as your car!

As for the fees, they could easily pay for the State department that would maintain the database, enforce the fines, and collect the fines. - same place as you register your cars.- much like the Dept. Of Vehicles.

Most people are. You are assuming that most people aren't. You are wrong.

Loss of tax revenue, that would be about it.

Thieves sell cars they've stolen to people all the time. Aren't you aware of that?

False equivalence. Drivers licenses are no the same as car registrations.
Same as your car!
Registration is an aid, but it does not protect your car from thieves for stop them from selling stolen cars.

So you are suggesting a tax to pay for the agency collecting the tax and nothing else???

Tell us how registering my guns will "protect (my) gun ownership and investment, and protect everyone's safety"?

I have no interest in paying any "fees" to own the firearms I own, and I won't, simple as that.

Nor does one require permission from the government to own a gun...or a car...or an airplane.

Everyone with a hint of intelligence knows registration is the first step to confiscation. There are millions and millions of responsible gun owners, most of us live in small towns and rural areas, we are who the libturds (read gun haters) fear the most. Once the government knows who we are, we will be the ones targeted. I say let them live in fear of those of us who aren't the problem. They're too stupid to see the problem mostly lies in their cities and the lack of firearm education.

Quite right. It's also just too easy to MAKE a gun, and the ammo for it.

You tell me how registering your car protects your investment, and requiring a drivers license protects everyone's safety?

If you don't understand the benefits of requiring a Drivers license or automobile ID Numbers, and automobile registration, then I can't help you- you are too stupid for me to deal with you!

But the benefits are there and it saves lives and helps law enforcement keep us safe as well.

I'm not telling you anything. Answer my question.
Cars and guns are two completely different things. I see you're too stupid to understand that. But if you think registering my guns would help law enforcement when none of them would be used in a crime, it just shows how ignorant you are. Face this fact, I will not register my firearms, period.
