Question for our gun enthusiast friends.

I was referring to enlarged amygdalas, the fear center of the brain, in conservatives.

No one fears you. You've been offered multiple opportunities to show to a location you indicated you knew by the pictures you posted. You've yet to show and likely never will.

Based on your level of fear, that part of your brain is so enlarged, people confuse you for a waterhead.

We used to be able to purchase guns from our local police department.

Yep, they would have an annual auction and sell things confiscated during arrests and things no longer needed as evidence, stolen items, etc.

But, they stopped selling guns at those auction and now crush them- all of them.

I heard that is the case in every police department around here now!

So, you can't tell me that Police Departments aren't concerned about the number of guns out there on the street!

Yes I can. They know that most people are law abiding. They have no problem with individuals owning guns. They know they can't be everywhere at once.

All good points! That is why I also believe that all responsible law abiding citizens of good mind and intention should have guns, if they want. I am not for taking guns away from those people. I believe these people should have a special license, that includes their right to own, carry, purchase, and sell guns. You pass a simple safety test, and have a clean criminal record, demonstrate you know the rules of safe gun operation, you know your states gun laws, then you easily qualify for a license.

And every Chief of Police in America wants to see licensing and registration in every state! I am on their side!

If you don't believe me, first ask your very own Police Chief, and report back! Thanks!

Sad how you think that proves anything you claim it does.

Sad how you could care less about law and order, and think it' OK for anyone to own a gun, carry a gun, buy a gun, and sell a gun just because they want one, without any system in place to insure that only responsible people are buying, selling, owning, and carrying guns in our society.

So, could it be that you have something to hide?

You made the statement, now prove it.

Yes, you are telling me that you are an asshole- incapable of having an intelligent conversation.
Inversion Fallacies. YOU are the one with those issues.

RB 60 and Into The Night have been quite right about your false equivalences regarding drivers licenses, vehicle registrations, and gun registrations.

So Fuckoff asshole! Do not address me any further in this forum!
You cannot tell RB 60 who he can or can't address in this forum. You have no control over his posts.

You are locked in paradox. Which is it, dude?
I believe these people should have a special license,
That means taking guns away if you don't have a license, else what does the license mean?

* You are held to the laws of your State even if you have no training in them. Are you not aware of that?
* There are no rules of safe gun operation. There are recommendations, put out the NRA and various gun ranges, but that's it. They are good recommendations to follow.
* Felons are already barred from getting a gun. They just buy one on the street corner instead. You can't kill the free market, dude. It's immortal. See your local drug dealer for details.
* What do you do if the inspector doesn't survive the 'safety test'? Guess the applicant flunks, yes?
And every Chief of Police in America wants to see licensing and registration in every state! I am on their side!
Argument from randU fallacy.
If you don't believe me, first ask your very own Police Chief, and report back! Thanks!
Already did. He doesn't want to see it happen any more than I do, and for the same reasons.

YOU are the one advocating breaking the law here. There are laws about infringing on the right to bear arms. It is prohibited for a government to do so.

Guilt by association fallacy.

Let's just cut to the chase!

Based on REPUBLICAN RETARDISM mentality, we should just do away with all laws- since criminals will break laws anyway.

Can't have it both ways idiots! AND, there ain't two ways about it. REPUBLICANS- the party of ridiculous double-standards!

And I just gave you only one example of their retarded, flawed, reckless, dangerous, and hypocritical ideology of self-interest!

Where did I say it's OK for anyone to own a gun? Please quote me, boy.

And how do you equate that to Gun Laws in ever state already.

Are you saying that you do not follow laws such as the number of shotgun shells you are allowed to have in your shotgun's chamber for your state?

Are you saying that you have the right to go out and purchase a machine gun- just because you want one?

I have news for you people with cavemen mentality- There are laws on the books that supersede the 2nd Amendment now and already!

SO, if I were you, I would know what they are! It seems you need a refresher course!

I do look out for my own self interests. I don't give a fuck about you, what happens to you, whether you eat or don't eat, have healthcare or go without. You simply don't matter to me.

NO! I still do not want to take your guns away.

But, if you fail to obtain a license, and you fail to register your guns, you should pay a fine as you got caught with a gun in your vehicle or on your person in public. And if you have several violations, at some point you could lose your license and not be legally able to own, carry, buy, or sell guns until you qualify to be reinstated with a proper license!

That is what I am saying!

In other words, what you're saying is you're not man enough to personally do what you say should be done.

It's not that you don't want to, it's that you know you can't even if you wanted to. There is a difference.

I don't.
Are you saying that you do not follow laws such as the number of shotgun shells you are allowed to have in your shotgun's chamber for your state?
There is no such law in my State.
Are you saying that you have the right to go out and purchase a machine gun- just because you want one?
Yup.
I have news for you people with cavemen mentality- There are laws on the books that supersede the 2nd Amendment now and already!
They are unconstitutional and need not be followed. The Constitution is the highest law of the land, not some local law.
SO, if I were you, I would know what they are! It seems you need a refresher course!
You just need to read the Constitution of the United States and your own State constitution (assuming you are living in a State).

Let me tell you! You do not decide who is right or wrong based on your political view! That just demonstrates your own Inversion fallacy, false equivalence, and hypocrisy!

And, I can always ask other fourm members to not address me here in this forum! It's just a personal request dude! I didn't break any forum rules by doing so!

Nah. He's just arguing against himself. That's the nature of the paradox. He is making two conflicting arguments. He must choose one and utterly discard the other to clear his paradox.

a) I do not want to take guns away
b) Guns should be taken away until one is licensed.

He must choose either a) or b) and discard the other. It is the only way to clear the paradox. A paradox in and of itself is a fallacy.

Since the 2nd amendment is in the Constitution, it can't be superseded. Just another Constitution hater than doesn't understand a simple concept.
