According to the FBI, over 90% of black murders are committed by other blacks, and blacks commit about half the murders in this country, despite being about 1/8 the population. Inner-city black culture promotes gang membership, and denigrates both education ("too white") and women ("hos"). Very little of that is due to white racism, but much of it is due to black culture and racism. None of it has anything to do with race, either. I forget who, but I recall some black conservative saying something to the effect of if blacks would just go to college and get married, many of their problems would disappear.

Blacks are violent and criminal because of the cultures they've built, fueled by our ridiculous drug laws and their own racism. Change the cultures and you'll get rid of most of the violence and criminality.

They don't have to believe that all blacks are criminals to be aware that criminality among blacks is much higher than in the rest of the population. If blacks don't like that, then they need to take action to change the statistics.

Or perhaps they are just, understandably, aware of the statistics on crime and cop killers, which would make them more nervous around black suspects. Most cops aren't that worried about armed citizens.

The problem does appear to be mainly in certain cities. What makes you think that it's the fault of the police?
