Some do, some don't. We had a police-involved shooting incident locally I think it was last year, but could have been early this year. It was a little contrived involving a motor vehicle, but I was actually surprised when the video was released at how extremely patient the police had been before even going to the zappity zap zap route and ultimately the pop pop pop pop pop pop pop pop pop pop route after a firearm entered the equation on the deceased's side. They did give him about 5 seconds of profanity-laced drop the weapon before they did their thing though. They originally had him in his vehicle blocked in on a dead end street so he had no way out in the car and he tried to go off road in the car after ramming a police cruiser and then the car got stuck.
Black men and women don't have that privilege.
They shoot on site.
