I think it is very likely that the security guard did something that resulted in him being shot. He might have done something that triggered the cop, or refused to do what he was told. Cops are justifiably nervous when they see someone with a gun at a crime scene. In such a situation it is a good idea to do EXACTLY what he says to do. I'll wait for the evidence before I make any judgements.

no, it didn't make him fair game. But you're also talking about 35+ years of the Illinois police state mindset that citizens weren't allowed to carry, so anyone with a gun was a bad guy. As more gun laws get rescinded, you're going to see a lot more people shot by cops. It's not right, mind you, but the courts there are going to exonerate as many cops as they can because of chicago mafia.

According to the FBI, blacks, who make up about 1/8 the population, commit about half the murders and a disproportionate amount of other violent crime. If you want real change, that's where you need to focus your efforts.

To refresh your limited memory we were discussing the murder by a police officer of an armed and licensed black security officer who was lawfully restraining an unruly subject. History and experience has shown time and again in America that white subjects are far less likely to be shot by police than are black subjects. No doubt you will demand proof. You won't get any from me. I've seen some of your other comments here. People -- using that in the kindest way possible - like you don't deserve proof or even rational discussion.
