The crooks in DC and your local gov'ts create the situation for crimes and gangs to exist if not flourish. Always have, always will. And those lucky enough to be born into wealth, or the right color so your achievements actually are rewarded are quite happy with having their offices and city/town streets clean without caring about the people who do that work.

It's a "dream" to you because you accept previous defeat of others....you also accept the 2 party narrative handed to you that if any vote outside the parameters of what they deem is "defeating" the party with the good ideas for America.

That's a crock...and the last 40 years proves that is a crock. The OP proves that. Hell, what both parties did to Ralph Nader proves that.

Fact is people who say as you do are essentially scared of true confrontation. The jackboot literally has to be on their necks before the act in union with others...and that usually results in a bloody mess.

That mess can be avoided, but there MUST be confrontation. Hell, the Europeans and South Americans to a degree don't take any guff....they are in the streets raising real hell...stopping work, stopping traffic, etc.

Thing is, King and Ghandi changed a country without firing a shot or throwing a punch. That took real guts. I fear Americans have forgotten/lost that.

Nader was a legitimate opponent that the DNC and RNC conspired to successfully keep him from a crucial debate. He was the ONLY candidate who had decades of public service to his record and was NOT beholden to any special interest group. He said if Gore wanted his votes, then let Gore do it like he did....LET HIM EARN THOSE VOTES.

Would he have won? Nah, but he would have change the dynamic of the dialog, and cemented the ground work for the next set of elections.

And the powers that be were not having it. A matter of fact, a matter of history.

Only thing I will comment on is, "Hell, what both parties did to Ralph Nader proves that."

Neither party did as much damage to Ralph Nader (and what you suppose to be "his message")...as Ralph Nader did to himself.

He was a dreamer...and had absolutely no chance of ever getting any significant part of his agenda passed. In fact, I doubt any significant part would ever have been seriously considered. He was a dreamer. He had the personality and dynamic of oatmeal...and was going nowhere.

And while I love and support damn near everything Bernie Sanders advocates...he also is just a dreamer with no reasonable path toward implementing 99.99% if his agenda.

Those of us wanting change have got to get real...and Nader and Sanders are not that. Neither are you right now, Taich.

HE DID CHANGE THE DYNAMIC...OF THAT ELECTION.

Gore lost...George W. Bush won.

And Nader was a significant factor in that lose/win.
