Well it's not just their death.

As the table in the OP indcates for every 4 Republicans dying of COVID, a Democrat dies as well.

If Republican ineptitude did not make the disease so prevalent, fewer Democrats would be dying.

Basically, we just have to love all Americans.

If we help save Republicans from themselves, then we save some Democrats too.

Personally, I just want to save Americans from needless death.

I don't care what their politics is. They are Americans? I naturally have something in common with them. I am an American too. I see them as part of my country, and I want to protect them.

your math must be off as Blue states still lead in total deaths and percentages are high in Minorities. I would worry about your own base if I were you

Wow, did you see who you responded to? The Covid vaccine fundies on this site wishing death and demanding people be forced by the feds to take an experimental "vaccine."

Seriously fucked up.

If they wanted to drive people even further away from it, they got the right recipe, for sure.

I'm not opposed to vaccines, just this one. I don't want to participate in an experiment. Most thinking people don't gamble with their health out of fear.

That would exempt you.

Sorry, but the Pfizer vaccine is approved and is no longer "experimental." Monoclonal antibody therapy, on the other hand, IS experimental. You guys need new material.

Good for you. Hopefully when you get the flu, you isolate yourself from others who may not survive getting it -- like someone with cancer taking chemo, or an elderly person, or an organ transplant recipient.

Approved under political pressure and duress. Most vaccines take many years and even decades. Sorry, not enough data to say what the end result will be. Not for me, anyway.

Currently, there is no evidence of naturally occurring smallpox transmission anywhere in the world. Although a worldwide immunization program eradicated smallpox disease decades ago, small quantities of smallpox virus officially still exist in two research laboratories in Atlanta, Georgia, and in Russia. So just like COVID, it could come around again

Once again, the subject of the OP is not who got sick/died *before* the vaccines were available. The subject is who is getting sick/dying from it NOW -- and that would be the science-deniers, anti-vaxxers, the Cultists. Sadly, the worst of it is in the so-called Red States.
