Reported 2 days ago Fewer Births Than Deaths Among Whites in Majority of U.S. State

In conclusion, researchers determined that natural decrease is the ultimate demographic consequence of population aging, low fertility and a diminishing childbearing-age population.

What I am is non of your business. Just come to grips with the facts of the rapidly changing Demographics, which are happening faster then predicted

Strength doesn't always come in numbers...

While past research has shown natural decreases in white populations in more rural parts of the country, the UNH study—based on data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention—finds white population decreases in more diverse states like Arizona and Nevada as well. That, Johnson says, may speak to the appeal of Donald Trump, who garnered a large portion of white voters in this year’s presidential election.

But trump can do Nothing about it and has no control

of course

i'm simply talking known demographics -and who said "all"? don't you know what a majority is?

pardon me if i do not accept your characterizations at face value. we're already established many of your post on this are deranged

Deranged is Trump using the families of murder victims for political gain, joking that one looked like Tom Selleck and then autographing photos of the victims. It all demonstrates an extremely weird fetish with celebrity mixed in with the Nazi tactics of scapegoating.

The known demographics tell us that white people will continue to be the largest cohort, while the soon to be fastest growing (they are second fastest now behind Asians) will be people of mixed heritage (mostly white and ...). The only group that should worry are white supremacists and those who join in coalition with them. This thread demonstrates they are the only groups that are worried.

Hello Darth,

Why does ‘less white people’ comprise a wonderful thought?

Is it permissible to substitute other groups besides white people?

Variety is the spice of life. It is not only permissible but preferable.

Besides, the thought of all kinds of different people coexisting on an equal basis, each contributing to society in their own way... It's kind of beautiful, you know? It would say that we have truly overcome prejudice. What's wrong with that? It should be our goal to achieve that.

Hello Timshel,

BTW, Vermont is the whitest state, no progressives there.

I beg to differ. There must be quite a large proportion of progressives if they have elected and reelected Senator Bernie Sanders, the man who brought the word 'Socialism' mainstream, the man who removed the pox from that word so that nobody need be ashamed to speak of the possibilities of us mixing socialism in with our capitalism, the man who made us realize that we don't have to choose between one or the other, that we can and should have a proper balance of capitalism and socialism...

Vermont must be pretty progressive, even if it is mostly white.

Have you ever wondered why Yugoslavia broke apart?

It was sarcasm. There is no proof that white hegemony will protect against progressives. Sanders is an idiot who brought us Trump.

One of the arguments we have seen in objection to simply allowing more legal immigration is that there is a fear that Latinos and Latinas will vote Democratic.

That is a very real possibility. History has shown a strong support for Democratic candidates within that demographic.

(And the problem with that is?)

OK, notwithstanding any traditional objections of one party platform over the other, I would like to politely suggest that if the Republican party wishes to remain relevant it is going to have to adopt policies which are more appealing to hard working lower income people such as these immigrants.

Many are already here, they are legal, and they are reaching voting age. The demographics of the nation are changing, and there is little which can be done to change that. And no justifiable reason to try.

If the Republican party wants to appeal to the changing face of America, the Republican party is going to have to change with the times.

It is absurd to try to cling to a moment in time.

What do you think? You can just jump up and yell: "OK! I like what we have right now! Just freeze everything right there and stop all this change!" (Not gonna happen...)

You guys can pretend you are eliminating nonexistent 'voter fraud' all you want but you are only fooling yourselves. You can gerrymander all the precincts you can get away with, make voting as difficult as possible so that only the rich can easily vote, purge all the Democratic names you can sort of justify from voter rolls, but that is only going to preserve your outsized (and slipping) grip on power for so long - then it is going to slip away from you.

Maybe it is time to really embrace the idea that this nation is founded on the principles of true equality.

I know. That's a big step for many of you.

But it is one you are going to have to face.

Sooner or later.

And besides. If you stop all this cruelty and let people be what they can be, people will be more well adjusted. They will become more productive. The GDP will rise higher than ever thought possible. And it will be easier to control the national debt. Remember that? You guys used to care about the debt. I remember when you did.

Nobody wants to turn the wealthy into paupers.

People just want to share in the prosperity.

And I think that is possible.

We can build a better future together.
