To Republicans and neolibertarians one of their big things is they think everybody should own a gun....

This helps to protect society because robbers and wacko gunmen will think twice about doing something stupid because everybody else is armed....

They think guns are like the MAD doctrine...

Well you know I dont think wacko gunmen care if others have guns and arent afraid to use them.....

This utterly stupid idea is that wackos WONT go on mass shootings b/c everybody else is armed....

Thats an absurd idea....Wackos dont care if other people are armed... They dont care if they get in shootouts...

In fact if you have noticed all of these wackos had the balls to shoot themselves and kill themselves.... None of them were afraid of getting into shootouts with armed guards....

Having an armed society works well in Afganistan that is...

It was a non uniformed person with a law enforcement background and a concealed carry permit.
He would not have known she was an armed guard.

Its not the fact that he knew they were armed or not...

It was the fact that there was a possibility that they were armed....This should have dissuaded him from attacking the church IF Republican logic works...

But even with the possiblity of him getting into a shootout he still went and go on a shooting spree....

Therefore Damocles and Republican NRA apologists OWNED...

I have never persopnally known of an armed guard at a church.
I guess they were wanting to make sure Ted Haggard did not ccome back.

thank you, and saved over one hundred lives at least. If the laws had forbid her from carrying a firearm, she was a civilian, this would have been a wholesale massacre.

Only a fucking troll could look at a situation where a massacre was avoided by an armed, non-uniformed private guard and come away thinking that more gun control was the answer.

how did you get that out of what I said, I clearly said had she been forbidden to carry a firearm, as a civilian, this, from all informed sources at this point, would have been a massacre. He had a lot of ammo I'm hearing, body armor. He came there to shock the nation far more than he actually accomplished by our civilian right to carry firearms.

That doesn't in anyway translate into mandatory executions, in fact I believe the opposite, I believe prisons should teach vocational skills, educate, give a person who has a chance at another shot, the ability to have another path, other than right back where he came from. The prison system today is designed as a warehouse, not toward rehabilitation.
 
Your logic is we should have everybody armed as this dissuades killers from shooting many people to death because they themselves would be shot and killed first...

So therefore you think that criminals should be executed because they might also commit crimes after they serve their sentence...
