There are approximately 12.8 million people on welfare. 39.8% of those (5.1 million) are black. Blacks make up 12.5% (40.6 million) of the 325 million people in the U.S. 1 out of every 8 blacks is on welfare.
38.8% (5 million) of the 12.8 million are white. Whites make up 70% (227 million) of the 325 million in the U.S. 1 out of every 46 whites is on welfare.
What that means is if you lined up 100 blacks and 100 whites, by the time you were counting the first white person statistically, you would have already counted 5, and almost 6, blacks.
