RIP Obamacare, 2010-2014?

Shane's actual letter is shown. What he failed to say is that he doesn't have to accept the plan outlined in the letter; he can opt out and look for other coverage.

What a liar.

Gee, what a surprise.

Another partisan Rightie doesn't want to post the WHOLE story.

This poor fellow, whose word we are just supposed to take at face value even though there is NO PROOF to back the claims made, can't even post the alternative choices ObamaCare would have given him.

Now why would he do that if he wanted every one to make an informed choice?

The dishonesty with which you libtards carry on conversations is shameful.

The issue was never that Shane was obligated to buy the new policy he was offered. It was that he could no longer keep the policy that he had, that he liked, and that he was told he could keep.

But as usual, you latch onto a tangent, or switch the conversation's direction, to flee from the original discussion.

Let's just cut to the chase here...

If someone is making $100K a year and has a catastrophic coverage plan, because it makes sense for him, and it's the plan he likes....

... are you saying the current health care changes are not going to effect him at all?

Because I'm saying it will, and I posted the guidelines from several sources that affirm that.

So put up, or shut up already.

Hey you.

Yes, you.

Answer the question.

A lot of people in this country in good health, like myself, only see the doctor maybe once every two years on average. Many of those people opt for the catastrophic-only type coverage, to cover hospitalization and unexpected medical emergencies. That basically fits the definition of what "medical insurance" is supposed to be.

Here in NY, Blue Cross/Blue Shield offers a plan like that in the range of $700 per year. Subscribers are willing to pay the $50 to $100 for a doctor's office visit out-of-pocket. Economically, it's a wise choice for many people.

People opting for these policies are spread all over the country. And they're about to find out that this type of coverage will not fulfill the Obamacare individual mandate, and will be fined if they only have this catastrophic only coverage.

Just a bump for this, barely over a month old....

Look at the vitriolic responses I got for just saying the obvious was coming. lol.

Liberals are the Hal Holbrook mayor in the "Jaws" movies. They never believe the obvious until the very last minute, when it bites them in the butt.

I have Desh on iggy, but I wonder if she'll retract this statement?

your bullshit will not come to fruition and the country will see you all as blind fools.

Someone tell me if she mans up.

WOW...so the very same guy who tried to derail the thread with petty insults directed at my wife and I, is now upset because he's gotten a taste of his won medicine.

Cry me a river why don 't you?

Boo Hoo Hoo!

Remind me...how many millions of Americans are expected to lose their current coverage despite Obamas repeated promise that "if you like your plan, you can keep your plan"...?

And Desh believed it, in spite of reasoned and linked points provided to the contrary.

And what about Jarod? Anyone still believe he actually got through on the website to buy his alleged employee health care?

Remind me, according to the war room documents pried loose from the Obamacare admins, how many people have successfully managed to enroll so far?
