I don't think that the poster thought the signs were about popularity. I think you just project what you want them to think onto them. It was a political ad, not on the topic of his incredible popularity.
 
Ron Paul is the only redeeming quality of Republican "debates". I want to cheer every time he simply speaks truth as he sees it, while his opponents try to pretend that he is ridiculous. The Republican group of candidates has only ONE who isn't a fucking disgrace, and most Republicans write him off with nothing better than unwarranted ridicule.
 
In 2004, people spoke of "The lesser of two evils". It would have been better described as "an extremely dishonest, but expertly advertised set of lies vs a poorly advertised set of unimaginative, but mostly honest set of day-to-day seriesdecision-making".

We aren't well known for putting reason before emotion.

One can only hope that our populace is TRULY more angry about the negative repercussions of asinine Far-Right-Wing ideology, than they are susceptible to the basic human-nature manipulation that put such liars into power in the first place.
