Russia in the USA infrastructure grid is a gun to our head

Reasons A U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier Is One Of The Safest Places To Be In A War

This is more accurate. It is virtually impossible to sink an aircraft carrier. It would be difficult to really hit it hard.

There has always been the fear that either a new technology, or a mistake would allow an aircraft carrier to be hit hard. In the 1980's the fear was that Soviet submarines could take out aircraft carriers. Now the fear is either drones or small manned boats. It is hard to say whether any would work; the US Navy is certainly trying hard to keep them from working. A mistake, like taking an aircraft carrier too close to a coast, or letting another ship get too close to it, would also be a way to take out a carrier.

That would take out one aircraft carrier, but not two. After the first one was lost, the rest would be better protected.

And losing thousands of sailors to an obvious enemy would not make the USA surrender, it would make us go to total war.

no it doesn't -any war would be in the South China Sea where we conflict with their East/South China Sea ADIZ
which backs up their 9 dash line claims

That is another example. They claim islands, we dispute their claims. They assume we will not be willing to go to war over it, and are wrong.

Actually, the 9 Dash Map has 10 dashes on it now. They quickly added a dash to cover Taiwan, too. So a war over Taiwan would also be a war over the 9 Dash Map.

The way a war does not start is on purpose. There will not be a Chinese Pearl Harbor attack starting a war. It would be more of a Poland invasion, where Hitler assumed he would get away with invading another country.

you'd have to show the 10 dash line -again you fail to cite
as to Taiwan,it's not new China has always claimed "one china" included Taiwan

the point is wars are not going to happen over a Chinese invasion of taiwan-
but since we patrol the SC Sea -that could be a flashpoint

not at ALL -small boats cannot get near a carrier group

the danger comes from hypersonic missile that "skip"across the stratosphere-Russian missiles are the best in the world and have been developing this. One reason Trump created a dedicated Space Force

This is crazy. You know that China claims Taiwan, and still you deny reality. I think you are just trying to disrupt debate with denials of basic facts.

Although not visible on the 2009 map, modern Chinese maps since at least 1984, including the vertically oriented maps published by China in 2013 and 2014 also include a tenth dash located to the east of Taiwan.

If everyone knows it, why are you wasting everyone's time denying it?
