Russian armor closes in on ' fortress ' Kyiv.

I really can't make much sense of it. Clearly he doesn't care about "his people" in Ukraine or Ukranians.

Doesn't care about leveling buildings either. It's still just a guess. :dunno:

But it does make some sense.

I still cannot fathom why Putin invaded Ukraine.
For the stuff he will lose, he gets a backwards, indebt, corrupt hunk of land that will probably terrorize every Russian trooper that is stationed there.
I thought he might invade the Donbass, boot out the Ukrainians and leave it there.

But this?
This makes little sense to me.
Or lots of other people that I read/listen to.

But if he takes Ukraine?
He gets a guarantee that Ukraine will never join NATO.
And a buffer zone if NATO ever goes nuts and attacks.

Even if it is wrong - it is a hell of a guess.
And DOES make sense.

Well done.

This is allegedly a transcription of "LPA" fighters:

(Google translated)

"The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) published a fragment of the intercepted conversation of the Russian occupiers, who were tasked with "taking Kharkiv". "We are few and far between, we have been cordoned off. Now we were given the command to kill [the use of obscene language in the source text] everyone, everyone in a row: civilians, children, it does not matter... kill everyone, everyone. Here is a city, at some ukrainian military plant, destroy old equipment, nine-story buildings, who you see, who will shine a flashlight, kill everyone... - said the interlocutors. He also said that the occupiers suffer heavy losses. According to him, out of 2,000 servicemen of the "LPR", from 20 to 25 people left."

I wonder if they mean actual city blocks or what with this:

It could just mean units.

What do any of those places have to do with Ukraine?

It's sad that you don't know.

They were just three of the many places America invaded to protect its regional interests, although we used proxies at the Bay of Pigs, and then JFK betrayed the troops he'd sent in to torture and certain death by denying them air cover. Typical DEMOCRAT.

In case you still don't comprehend the relevance, superpowers do what they have to do to neutralize extraterritorial threats to their security, or they don't remain superpowers for long.

Now, call me a troll, bid me "good day" and scuttle off to your hidey-hole if that doesn't clarify things for you.

JUST as I thought.
They have NOTHING to do with Ukraine.
You are just trolling for a fight.

Grenada was just Reagan paranoia about communism.
Right...like Grenada would be a threat to America?
Panama was getting rid of a nutbar in charge of the strategically important, Panama Canal.
Only the Bay of Pigs had anything remotely to do with a 'buffer zone'. But that was 60 fucking years ago...during the heat of the Cold War.
Your point - as I suspected - had NOTHING to do with Putin and Ukraine.

Now since you apparently are just trying to stir up shit with me?
I mean, Matt Dillon came up with the idea and you said nothing to him about it.
I just commented on it.
Yet you focus on me ONLY.

So clearly, you are just trying to pick a fight with me.
Obviously because you are still pissed about what I said to you weeks ago.
Which I had long forgot.

So...we are done here.
After all...I just tore your point to shreds.
And you are clearly just trolling for a juvenile fight.
I cannot be bothered.

Grow up and stop taking yourself so seriously.
Sheesh.

Have a nice day.

Christ, you're stupid. Die in a fire.

In other words - everything I typed was right and you are not mature enough to admit it.

LOL...so because you think I am stupid?
You wish me to die an incredibly, horrible death?
Wow...you are not just a troll.
But a sick troll as well.

My comments a while back must have REALLY pissed you off.
You ARE thin skinned.
Or have not much of a life.
Or both.

So noted.

Have a nice day.

Biggest losses in decades?

Well, considering Russia has not been involved in a major, ground war since the 1990's (that I recall)...I think that falls under the 'Well Duh' category Mr. Zelenskyy.

It's a good thing for you that functions like breathing don't require any conscious thought. Not so good for humanity, though. I hope you've never reproduced your genes.

Back to ad hominem's. simplistic meme's and trying to avoid my questions, I see.

Well, since you clearly refuse to debate rationally.
I shall bid you adieu.

Have a WONDERFUL day, troll.

You gotta read this stuff objectively. ;)

I guess you forgot the Bay of Pigs, Grenada, and Panama.

Ding ding ding. Monroe doctrine. Hey Soviet Union,....we can ring the Warsaw pact with missile after missile, including nukes in Turkey but dont you dare put as much as a BB gun in our entire hemisphere!

The Russian aim, they state, is to disarm and ' deNazify ' Ukraine. They're not looking to occupy it.

Israel, on the other hand- backed by Uncle Scam.................

I have been noticing a trend here.

The same people who swore Putin would never invade Ukraine, the same people who predicted a rapid and overwhelming Russian victory, are the exact same people demanding that Ukraine immediately run up the white flag and surrender their territory and their sovereignty.

I am not convinced the Ukrainians are losing this war, at least in any strategic sense.

The British Firebombing of Dresden as well....

Uh, that was us, too.

The bombing of Dresden was a British-American aerial bombing attack on the city of Dresden, the capital of the German state of Saxony, during World War II.

In four raids between 13 and 15 February 1945, 772 heavy bombers of the Royal Air Force (RAF) and 527 of the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) dropped more than 3,900 tons of high-explosive bombs and incendiary devices on the city.

The bombing and the resulting firestorm destroyed more than 1,600 acres of the city center. An estimated 22,700 to 25,000 people were killed. Three more USAAF air raids followed.

They were building airstrips in Grenada capable of landing Soviet Heavy Bombers. Cuban Engineers were there doing the work, they had a little light infantry with them, not much,...they thought thats all they needed. They were wrong,...the eye in the sky sees everything...
