BUT THAT WAS NOT THE TESTIMONY. The testimony was that Ornato had told her something...and that testimony IS NOT HEARSAY. Ornato DID tell her something...and she has every right to testify what he told her.

We agree that what he told her could not be used to establish that something did happen. What you are being thick-headed about is that SHE TESTIFIED THAT ORNATO DID TELL HER THAT.

The XYZ cannot be used to establish that XYZ occurred, because that IS hearsay. But her testimony that Ornato did tell her that is NOT.

I merely said that her testimony that she and Ornato had a conversation in which he told her that something had happened in the presidential vehicle. Hutchinson's testimony that Ornato told her something was not hearsay. He did do it and she was a witness to what he told her. If they want to go under oath to say nothing happened, let them actually do it rather than say they are willing to do it.

They already testified under oath but the democrats show trial used hearsay testimony instead of there's. There's apparently didn't fit the narrative democrats are constructing. Now they offer to testify that Hutchinson lied but democrats will ignore that offer.

If Ornato wants to go under oath before the committee and call Hutchinson a liar about her testimony...he should do so.

MY GUESS: It will NEVER, EVER happen. My guess is that what she said in her testimony is exactly what happened. (That Ornato told her what she said he told her.)
